Miranda Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay with a lot of character. It is very rural with lovely views over surrounding countryside but the narrow country lanes are not for the fainthearted! Lovely week at Miranda Cottage. The weather was cold but bright enabling us to do some lovely coastal walks. The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Helford River, Mullion, Prussia Cove and Coverack. Lovely welcome from Graham with a home made chocolate cake. The cottage is warm and cosy and ideal for a family of five and a dog!...

Ms Moeller September 2022
We loved Miranda Cottage. This beautiful and very spacious cottage felt extremely welcoming. It was warm and cosy and the mermaid and ammonite bathroom was out of this world. If you like peace and quiet, this one is for you. Classic Cottages were extremely efficient and fast when we experienced an electric outage. Thank you. We found delicious, freshly baked cakes on arrival and really appreciated that. Thank you Graham. The only item missing was a tumble dryer and a clothes drying rack that can accommodate a washing machine load. ...

We really enjoyed our stay at Miranda cottage Large airy rooms Stunning views across open countryside. Just requires some basic maintenance to make it a truly special place to stay.
Mrs King July 2022
Miranda Cottage unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. Having arrived late on the Saturday we were disappointed to see that the cottage had not been thoroughly cleaned, crumbs on the three tables, large cobwebs in the shower room, dirty placemats and old and dirty scourers left in the sink were some of the problems we noted on arrival. We therefore wondered how clean the high touch areas were and undertook some cleaning ourselves that evening. Having reported the initial problem to Classic Cottages by telephone they did send someone out to clean the cottage the following day. This was by no means a thorough clean as we later found dead flies under the bed, bulbs not working, loose toilet seats. Although a fairly modern cottage, it is getting very tired, with sinks and baths appearing glazed, fridge stained and soft sofas. Otherwise the cottage location was good. We would say it was expensive for the state it was in. Classic Cottages and the owner eventually responded to our complaints and provided a final offer of 7% refund on the cost. ...
