This is the 3rd year we have stayed ast Miranda Cottage. Love the location, the peace and quiet. Watching the sunset over the fields and just listening to the birds is great. It is a great base from which to explore the Lizard Peninsula, using all the back roads, although you have to watch out for tractors and farm machinary. It is also very easy to access places further afield as well. We enjoy revisitig palces we know and love as well as finding new palces ot go and visit. The cottage is perfect for our needs. Really enjoy cooking on the Aga, just need to take an Aga cooking course to master the finer techniques. Graham, the caretaker is wonderful and is a fountain of knowledge about the area. ...

A great location for the Lizard in a beautiful, spacious cottage. We enjoyed all of the facilities as well as some high quality places to eat locally.
Mrs Cooper April 2025
The holiday home was in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore and really enjoy the area. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, which was a big plus. We recommend The Prince of Wales pub for a welcoming meal and in close proximity to the cottage. We also loved that we could walk directly from the cottage to The Frenchman’s Creek, through the forest and loop back around. Our only gripe… we could not locate any ice cube trays for our post walk gin & tonics. However, the extra fridge was useful for chilling wine. The shower was hot, the parking secure and the views from the garden were superb. We had a great family stay with our children and our small dog. It is a lovely cottage in a fabulous part of the world. Thank you! ...
