A perfect cottage in a beautiful location. We had a lovely two weeks, the cottage was everything we hoped for and Ros and Mike (the owners) were wonderful. The cottage is on a small working farm and it was lovely to see the sheep and lambs each day and we had many visits from the cheeky farm cat. Having visited Cornwall for over 20 years, this is an area we have not stayed in before, the coast is about 20 minutes drive (Porthtowan, Portreath and Chapel Porth), you are very close to Redruth, Helston, Stithians Lake and Truro is not too far away. There are many cycle routes for all abilities and a very useful map can be found in the cottage which details, walking and cycling routes. The Great Flat Lode Trail is a really good cycling route, but be warned it is not flat and there are some steep sections, however, it is worth the effort. We would love to return and would highly recommend the cottage to anyone considering staying at the Sheep Shed. ...

What a gem! The sheep shed is situated in a lovely rural position on a small holding. It has an enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog and has lovely west facing views so we were able to enjoy some stunning sunsets. It is well situated for access right across Cornwall. Mike & Ros were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the cake Ros baked for us was delicious and a lovely touch. The accommodation was beautiful and in an excellent condition.
