Stunning panoramic sea view from the hut, which is beautifully decorated and cosy. Super relaxing and picturesque place for a break away from it all. Pub and boat café a short walk away from the hut. We walked the coastal path to Ilfracombe and went further afield in the car to Instow for a day trip. We only stayed for a weekend but there are lots of places to visit and more coastal path to walk close by. Highly recommended....

We had a wonderful stay in the Wild Pear Shepherd's Hut. A rustic-feeling yet very modern and comfortable cabin - two induction hobs with a whistling kettle, a fridge, a toaster, an electric shower and all the crockery and cutlery you'll need. Don't pack too heavily - there's limited wardrobe space, but definitely enough to get by. The pull-down bed gave us our best sleep in months and it was gorgeous to wake up in the middle of the night and hear the rain on the roof. The coastal path offers walks right from the front door that take in wooded areas and seaside, and local towns Combe Martin and Ilfracombe are close by car (or a walk if you're up for it). Siân was a brilliant host - booking us tables for the local restaurants and giving lots of great local advice. We'd definitely come back :)...

Booked Wild Pear Shepherds hut for my girlfriend and I, and we had a wonderful week. Situated high on the hillside and just below the farm, it has a fabulous view out to sea, and was so peaceful. Plenty of wonderful walks along the coastline, and spotted a few Porpoise in the bay and the occasional Peregrine Falcon. The outside seating area was perfect for the evenings, when the farmyard chickens would pop by like clockwork. Will certainly be back. ...

We had a fantastic stay at WildPear Sheperds Hut. The accocomodation was very clean and an extremely high standard of furnishing. We were so cozy with the gorgeous log burner. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas if you can tear yourselves away from the stunning views!...
