Fabulous little hideaway in an amazing location - had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit and the log burner. Brilliant in every way, such a relaxing and peaceful break. Easy walk out to coastal paths and we made good use of the butcher and farm shop in Coombe Martin. A visit to the Hunters Inn is also a must. ...

If you enjoy camping, you'll love The Wild Pear Shepherd's Hut! Very quaint and cleverly designed with great views from the Hut. A Monday-Saturday bus service will take you from the Castle into Ilfracombe for £2pp or a taxi back to the Hut for about £13 for those who miss the last bus home :) Ilfracombe itself is well worth a visit and the Verity statue is breathtaking. We recommend taking some fold up chairs and disposable BBQs. ...

Loved our stay sat every night with the doors open a glass of wine breathing the sea air and taking in the breathtaking views. So peaceful even with the campsite below a place to escape from it all
