Buddlewall is an historic farmhouse with vast amounts of character and really lovely gardens.
This historic farmhouse has a stunning contemporary kitchen.
There is an oak-framed extension which has a table that is large enough for the 12 guests that this wonderful house accommodates. This is the 'new' dining-room or garden-room.
The 'old' dining-room at the heart of the house has a huge open fireplace and a beamed ceiling.
This is the main living-room with its wood-burning stove and deep comfortable sofas.
This is the other side of the main living-room. The stairs lead up to the master en suite bedroom.
The kitchen features this huge island with storage to one side and the breakfast-bar to the other.
You will love cooking on this range cooker - Buddlewall is perfect for wonderful family gatherings and on a practical level the kitchen is fabulously equipped.
The 'old' dining-room has its original panelling. With additional occasional tables and chairs from the other dining-area, you would all be able to eat in this room too.
This is a wonderful view down over the farmhouse from the gardens at the rear.
As well as the gardens around the farmhouse there is a little meadow and a little bridge over the river (please supervise children at all times).
The farmhouse has an enclosed front garden and plenty of parking either to the side of the little no through lane or in the driveway to the side of the house.
This photo shows you the little front garden area.
This is the master bedroom. It has an en suite bathroom. This bedroom has stairs from the main living-room but can also be reached up the main central staircase and then through another bedroom.
This is one of the double bedrooms. It is reached along the main landing from the central staircase but also has access to a further staircase from the ground floor bedroom.
This bedroom looks out to the sheltered courtyard area and gardens at the back of the farmhouse.
There is a brand new contemporary family bathroom with this stunning free-standing double ended bath. Take care of the step.
This is the other side of the family bathroom.
There is a lovely single bedroom too - this one has views out to the front of the farmhouse and across the little river.
This twin bedroom is above the ground floor bedroom and shares the stairs from that room.
The twin bedroom, as with all the rooms, is peacefully decorated.
The shower-room is on the landing outside the twin bedroom. It can also be used by the ground floor bedroom and the 'blue' double bedroom.
The stunning Jurassic Coast is just a very short drive away from Buddlewall.
This is the harbour at Lyme Regis - there is a lovely sandy beach here too.
This is the view from the top of Golden Cap - Dorset's iconic landmark an easy drive across the east Devon border.
The Jurassic Coast is just waiting to be explored. This is the beach as it stretches away from Burton Bradstock.
There is a huge sandy beach at Exmouth if that is what your children prefer - though there is also plenty of sand at Lyme Regis too.
The little meadow and river are just across the lane so if you don't want to take to the car you can explore from your doorstep. There is a public footpath here too.
