We had a fabulous week staying at Coombe Cottage. The cottage is well equipped and the tranquility and dark skies were just what we needed. Ruth and Adam are great hosts - very welcoming and informative - we had some lively discussions! The location is great for getting away from it all and still having access to some beautiful beaches. We had the most wonderful stay at Coombe Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The location is perfect: tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing, yet close to gorgeous beaches and coastal walks. Ruth and Adam were fantastic hosts, they clearly care about their guests’ experience, and it shows in every detail. Coombe Cottage was perfect for us—spacious, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The smaller cottage next door was booked by my parents which was ideal, giving them their own space while keeping us close together. It worked brilliantly for holidaying as a family with children, as we could spend time together during the day and still have a bit of privacy in the evenings. The farm itself was a joy to explore, and the children loved being surrounded by nature. It felt safe, relaxed, and full of little touches that made our stay memorable. Wew can't wait to come back!...

We had a really lovely and relaxing stay at Combe Cottage, could happily have spent another week and there is certainly enough to do in the area to justify this. Ruth and Adam are lovely hosts and went to great trouble to make our stay enjoyable and run smoothly throughout, even kindly lending us wellies as we are from overseas. Their project here is beautiful and we had some interesting chats together about it and many other things :) Would liked to have chatted more and further enjoyed the grounds had we had more time! Out and about we visited, Tintagel, Lydford Gorge, Dartmoor and a lovely coastal walk recommended by Ruth and Adam. Access to the coast was easy and we swam at Crackington Haven, Widemouth - if your children have never swum in the sea before the Atlantic coast is a pretty bracing introduction - full-on waves! The two joined cottages are cleverly converted such that they feel quite private from one another. Their entrances are on different levels and different sides of the building. A great stay! The geese are hilarious!...
