This house is in an excellent location, right in the middle of Penzance. It is a quick (albeit steep) walk to the Harbour Carpark which is a very convenient place to keep the car. We understand that it may get busy later in the year, but for us in June and early July, there was always plenty of space available. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped - it feels like someone actually lived there rather than there being just the minimal required facilities. We found the bed to be very comfortable and we were able to relax and sleep well after lots of walking and sightseeing. We found that there was plenty to do. The Morrab gardens are nearby. Free tours of the Morrab Library are available every Friday at 2pm. Further afield, we walked to Trengwainton Gardens, Newlyn Art Gallery, and the Jelbert's Ice Cream shop, also in Newlyn. We took a train to St Ives to see the Tate at St Ives and Barbara Hepworth's house. We went round the coast (by car) and visited St Michael's Mount. There are many excellent pubs, cafés, restaurants, brasseries and fish & chip shops in the area....

Beautiful historic cottage in a fantastic location. Passers-by constantly stopping to take photos! Lovely collection of artwork on the walls depicting local surroundings and great, and great selection of books. Well equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable 2 week stay. Brilliant shower! Gorgeous little balcony area with view of Penzance Harbour- a perfect spot for our morning coffee. Overall a great place to stay right in the heart of Penzance. ...

This was our third visit and as always the cottage is in an excellent location with easy parking. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Penzance is a lovely town to explore. We particularly like the old town and Penlee house museum....
