Tolpuddle is the middle cottage in the photo, the parking is behind the cottages, turn right before the white thatched cottage.
This great little play area is a two minute walk from the cottage, it has an enclosed gated-area for small children.
The Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum in the village tells the story of the beginning of the Trades Union Movement, it is free to visit.
This spectacular view is of Chesil Beach, with Portland in the background taken from the Jurassic Coast road between Weymouth and Bridport; fabulous views in both directions.
Nearby Athelhampton House and Gardens are well worth a visit, they have a restaurant there too.
Corfe Castle stands imposingly above the village of Corfe. The Swanage steam railway runs along the side of the village and stops at the little station there.

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location, we felt blessed to have stayed here in Tolpupuddle cottage , we were able to visit so many places , words cannot express our thanks to the owners Mr and Mrs Hall for sharing there beautiful home , so we could experience this beautiful heavenly place , Dorset wow what a great place to encounter !!! Looking forward to our future stays , our thanks until next time God willing , Mr and Mrs Jackson from Derbyshire . Ps our little dog sends lots of doggie kisses too...

Lovely quiet cottage in a lovely village. Great pub within walking distance. Lovely comfy bed and beautifully furnished. Lovely soft towels also. Highly recommend. Thought it was a bit expensive though.
