The cabin is beautifully located and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is just a short idyllic walk behind the farmhouse and along the river to Colyton. We recommend taking the short walk and visiting the Kingfisher pub for a delicious lunch or evening meal, and the Bear Bread Bakery for fresh scones and croissants etc, although you'll need to get here early in the day if you want a fresh loaf of sourdough! There are some amazing scenic country walks that are printed and stored in the folder for use, that will take you to nearby towns and picnic sites. Michael and Fiona give the perfect balance between privacy and ensuring you stay fully equipped, they will even set up the hot tub ready for your arrival if requested. The hot tub and log burners are easy to use and perfect for drizzly days and dark evenings. We had the most magical time, we have already recommended to friends, and we will definitely be back again! ...

We had such a lovely stay at Old Orchard! The cabin was very comfortable, but the best part was definitely the view from the hot tub outside! Seeing the stars at night whilst drinking wine in the hot tub was so lovely- I could not recommend this place more....

Cannot recommend enough. Was a perfect weekend away - the cottage was exactly as described, in a beautiful area and great facilities. Loved the hot tub (with very clear instructions on how to work everything!)

We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning again in the future, everything has been thought of. The cabin was clean, cosy, well equipped and in a beautiful location and prior to our arrival Michael had kindly set up the hot tub ready to go as requested so we were able to start our relaxing weekend straight away.
