Situation far exceeded expectations. A quiet rural setting with wonderful, exceedingly muddy, walks on the doorstep. It did rain a lot but nothing kept us in.

Gardson was the perfect choice of holiday home for our family (4 children including a baby, and mother-in-law). Two bedrooms on the ground floor provided for a bit of separation and privacy for our mother-in-law and teenage son while we and the baby were upstairs in the master bedroom with the en suite, and the smaller children in the twin room next to us. The house, terrace and garden are large and were ideal. While we had a take the car down to Seaview as the walk was too far with the children and bags (the walk down to the nearest beach is a good 20 minutes), we were very quickly on the main roads to other attractions on the island. The location is very quiet but fairly close to the main road so you are quick to get on route to various places. It is also a very short walk to the little shop. This was our second time in Seaview as we all absolutely love this town - an absolute gem - and the perfect crabbing beach. It has become a firm favourite of our family and 4 children....
