Number Four is a beautiful little Georgian cottage.
The lovely sitting-room has reclaimed wooden wall panelling and an original stone fireplace.
The kitchen is compact but ideal for preparing light meals.
The memory foam mattress is super-comfortable.
Fabulous views from the deck in the garden.
The sitting-room also looks out towards the water.
This little beauty will keep you as warm as toast on blustery days!
Put your feet up and relax.
The well-equipped kitchen.
A breakfast-bar for meals.
The courtyard outside the kitchen.
The bathroom is on the ground floor (there's limited headroom standing in the bath so the fitted shower will not be suitable for all).
Contemporary bathroom fittings contrast beautifully with the old cottage.
Built-in storage for toiletries.
Turn the lights down low and have a relaxing soak.
Steep cottage stairs lead up to the bedrooms.
Lovely light and restful colours.
The main bedroom has lovely sea views.
A window seat looks out towards the bay.
The bespoke captain's bunk-beds in the second bedroom.
Beautiful furnishings.
Both beds are full-size single beds.
The gravelled courtyard to the front of the cottage.
A sheltered spot for morning coffee or evening drinks while watching the world go by.
Steps lead up to the steep terraced garden.
What a spot for a leisurely lunch.
A parasol to keep you cool when the sun blazes down.
The deck is safely fenced but take care with children in the garden as it is steep.
Looking down from the top of the steep garden.
Looking from the garden out over Gerrans Bay.
Dusk is a wonderful time to sit and relax on the deck.
Sunset over the bay.

Number Four is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location. The local shop is amazingly well stocked, the local pub does great food, there are some very nice galleries to look around, and there are brilliant walks and beaches close by, so no need to travel further afield. It's an ideal location for a truly stress-free holiday!

Great place to stay - for a couple with a toddler (and if you're no taller than 5' 6") but beware weekends - parking & late night rowdiness!

Thanks for your review - we're delighted you enjoyed your stay. There is limited head room under the shower due to the lower ceiling (have a look at our photos) but this is just the nature of a traditional fisherman's cottage. We were really sorry to hear you were disturbed by noise outside - this isn't something that's been mentioned before, so hopefully it was an isolated incident due to some overly jolly (but rather inconsiderate!) revellers. A super little cottage with bags of character, perfect for couples looking for a comfortable bolthole by the sea... With a great view of the bay from the deck in the back garden, we are in love with Porthscatho...
