The property was above and beyond our expectations. Very comfortable with exceptional decor, furnishings, lighting and a very well equipped kitchen. Some lovely personal additions from the owners, who were friendly and very, very helpful. The guide to the cottage was detailed and very informative. Very, very pleased with this cottage and almost don't want to recommend it in case it gets overbooked and we can't go back! We certainly intend to return....

We liked everything about this property, the decor, the location, the privacy. We also loved the narrow lanes around the property and the fact that you are basically on the Moores straight out of your front door...! Absolutely recommended.

It’s a lovely property in a wonderful spot and an excellent base from which to discover Dartmoor. The owner is welcoming and there if needed. This is a beautifully appointed cottage, with everything you could need for a week away. We’ve stayed in many self-catering properties across Europe and this was the best yet! The kitchen was so well stocked, we struggled to find anything missing that we’d have in our own kitchen even things you’d forget like baking paper, cling film and foil! The owners are so thoughtful to provide lovely details like underfloor heating and logs/firelighters for the wood burner, a coffee machine with a milk frother as well as eco friendly products and treats like croissants, wine and organic milk to welcome you. They were really friendly made sure to say hello and told us to call them if we needed anything. The cottage was wonderfully warm, peaceful and cozy. The countryside and towns nearby were great to explore. We’d love to return soon. ...
