Huckworthy

One word describes Huckworthy Cottage and that is AMAZING! The standard of cleanliness and furnishings are to a very high standard, bathroom is very luxurious, kitchen well planned and equipped to self cater if you wish. The property sits in an idyllic valley which gives easy walking distance to Dartmoor and National Trust properties and other places of interest are very easily accessible. The owners were very welcoming and we will definitely return. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay....

We have stayed in many cottages and this really was the best one! The location was perfect for us and our Labrador Bloom, so many fields so we could walk for miles. The host Masha was so welcoming and friendly the cottage was immaculately clean and had the right amount of kitchen items. We had a long weekend there and felt truly relaxed. We walked to the local pub (Walkhampton Arms) and it was such a welcoming pub with great food....

Beautiful location. Great for walks straight onto the moor. Interior is tastefully decorated with a large luxurious bathroom and bedroom. Our Jack Russell enjoyed playing ball in the orchard and we look forward to booking again soon.

Huckworthy cottage exceeded our expectations, the location was perfect for a relaxing holiday with lots of walks on dartmoor nearby. Would return without hesitation.

Beautiful and very tastefully decorated cottage. Spotlessly clean. Big comfy bed. Good shower plus bath as well! Everything we could ever have needed was provided and the owners very generously left a bottle of wine for us plus Christmas crackers! The whole cottage was very prettily lit for Christmas. Great walks onto the moors and a very good pub in Walkhampton, close by. We would have welcomed the ability to stream some tv over the Christmas period, but that’s a small point and overall we would recommend it highly. We loved our stay....
