Huckworthy cottage was a beautiful hideaway, we spent most of our time relaxing in the cottage. What was a brilliant surprise is that the local supermarket is only 15 minutes away and the owner also have a book stocked full of recommended local shops. The cottage held the heat really well there wasn't a single time we got cold. We also did a bit of stargazing and you won't be disappointed it was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough, it's a perfect for a retreat to the countryside. ...

Possibly one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Very high spec. Lovely touches on arrival at the cottage of wine, fruit, cheese, milk, home made bread and flowers. Quiet location and plenty of places to visit not too far away. Supermarkets within 10 minute drive....

This is a lovely hideaway, tucked into the valley with easy access to walking and cycling on Dartmoor. The rooms are immaculate and we received a great welcome.
