Our third visit to Lamb's Tale. From the warm welcome from Sue, the lovely welcome goodies, the unbelievably well equipped hut (in fact the best equipped self catering accommodation we've encountered anywhere) to the wonderful hot tub...(the other side of the hedge from the inquisitive bullocks) and the cosy wood burning stove, it was the perfect 2 day stay, right at the foot of the lovely Quantock Hills....

We stayed here 22–26 September with our dog Shelby, and it was our second visit in three years. Once again, the property exceeded our expectations. The hosts are truly thoughtful and helpful – beyond what anyone could imagine. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. The property and hot tub were already warm on our arrival, which was such a lovely touch. The welcome pack with Prosecco, biscuits, luxury hot chocolate, and more made us feel immediately at home. We really enjoyed the beautiful walks just five minutes from the door, and it was a joy to meet the animals – especially watching the calves play. The homemade apple juice was absolutely delicious too! A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts for being so kind and making our stay so special once again. We will be back again ...

This shepherd’s hut is absolutely gorgeous. Husband and I came away for a couple of days peace and quiet and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful shepherds hut, lovely peaceful location. Has everything you could possibly need. Even the dog loved it as was able to roam free in the secure garden. Owner very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
