Looking across the mouth of Christchurch Harbour towards Mudeford Quay, ferry trips and adventure boat trips leave from the Quay.

You will find a lovely array of seaside kit for the children, great for crabbing on the quay.
You will find lines for crabbing and lots of buckets and spades for you to use at Sandy Days.

Lymington from the old harbour, from the other side of the river you can take a day trip to the Isle of Wight, the ferry takes about 30 minutes to Yarmouth.
Lymington Old Town has historic streets that lead down to the Quayside, with cafes, restaurants and pubs where you can watch the world go by.
New Forest National Park, just a short drive away, looks wonderful all year round, acres of ancient woodland, and miles of footpaths and cycle tracks invite you to explore.
New Forest ponies roam free, along with cattle and pigs.
The Sandbanks ferry travels on chains across the strong tides at the entrance to Poole Harbour, linking Poole with the Isle of Purbeck.
Further afield, Studland beach, safe and sandy. In the distance Old Harry Rocks, the beginning of the Jurassic Coast.

Love this cottage, this was our second visit. The welcome package was lovely and the owners also remembered it was my birthday and left a card! My toddler loved his little room and all the toys! Such a great location close to the beach, crabbing and some nice restaurants....

A wonderful comfortable property, within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and pubs. This was our second visit, and we will be definitely booking again for a third! It's great to be able to take our dog and to have a house so well set up for him, and for walking, beach activity etc. The games room is particularly helpful for storing wet walking clothes and shoes. We love Sandy Days!...
