Looking across the mouth of Christchurch Harbour towards Mudeford Quay, ferry trips and adventure boat trips leave from the Quay.
The utility/games-room is not heated but provides lots of extra storage space and room for children to play. Maybe a family pool challenge?
You will find a lovely array of seaside kit for the children, great for crabbing on the quay.
You will find lines for crabbing and lots of buckets and spades for you to use at Sandy Days.

Lymington from the old harbour, from the other side of the river you can take a day trip to the Isle of Wight, the ferry takes about 30 minutes to Yarmouth.
Lymington Old Town has historic streets that lead down to the Quayside, with cafes, restaurants and pubs where you can watch the world go by.
New Forest National Park, just a short drive away, looks wonderful all year round, acres of ancient woodland, and miles of footpaths and cycle tracks invite you to explore.
New Forest ponies roam free, along with cattle and pigs.
The Sandbanks ferry travels on chains across the strong tides at the entrance to Poole Harbour, linking Poole with the Isle of Purbeck.
Further afield, Studland beach, safe and sandy. In the distance Old Harry Rocks, the beginning of the Jurassic Coast.

This is the third time my family and I have stayed at Sandy Days and we have found it just perfect. The location is great with beaches and the Quay within walking distance and other attractions are nearby. The bungalow has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Such a joyful cottage to spend time in. The location is perfect for glorious dog walks, with a range of excellent eateries in every direction. We have returned many times and Sandy Days never disappoints.
