It is a great situation for walkers doing the SW Coast path marking the start of the walk to Portwrinkle. Public transport links are good with the 72 bus route and ferries to Plymouth a short walk away. If you're eating out and fancy a drink look no further than the Edgecombe Arms with friendly staff, good beer and a comprehensive menu serving all special dietary requirements. The cottage is like Fort Knox. You will not need to worry about security. It has spacious shower room (but no shower gel provided), a cosy lounge and a kitchen with all the mod cons except a dishwasher and a pair of scissors. The property has wifi but this is hit and miss. Many times there was no connection at all and when there was a connection it was very slow. This was not very helpful when we needed to plan our days out. Nevertheless, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time in the cottage and we highly recommend it. ...
