Comfortable, quirky, spotless cottage with fabulous views. Lots more room than usual for cottages for two. Husband loved the boot room, I loved the seating in garden. Super walking along coast path and in Mt Edgecumbe’s beautiful gardens . .

We got married at the main house in the saytuday 26th of our stay and safe to say the property was not what we expected and the price I think is way to high!!! Even people in the guest book have said this as well please read them! Property is not private at all bedroom window opens to kids eating ice cream no more then 6 feet in-front of you, landing window going down the stairs was head hight to onlookers and people could stand right outside and look in which they did! Kids running around the drive way from a fence toy can step over from the ice cream/crape shop. Bathroom window couldn’t open and glad we couldn’t as people was leaning against the window and chatting. Bed not great at all didn’t sleep well and on wheels so moved around with ease… very annoying. Driveway needs a lot of work unless you have a 4x4 I wouldn’t even try to get down it but we did have a pass for the car park so that was fine. The biggest thing is privacy and this was not no where near! Being attached to the shop next door it was very loud! As the drive way and property is surrounded by mud and trees we couldn’t find a hoover or even a brush to clean up the hallway. Positive property was very clean and looked lovely from the outside! For the price we paid we expected a lot more! ...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and congratulations on your recent wedding. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. Your concerns about privacy, comfort, and practicality are important to us, and we take them seriously. While this property is located next to the ice cream shop, we understand that this can occasionally impact the level of seclusion guests may expect. We're actively reviewing how we can better communicate the layout to ensure guests know what to expect before booking. We have included a photograph on the listing that shows Cremyll Lodge and the shop's seating area for this reason. We are also sorry to hear about the issues with the bed and the lack of cleaning tools. This feedback helps the team at Mount Edgcumbe identify areas for improvement. The team there are also going to be monitoring any issues with the drive, which is only intended to be used for dropping off your belongings, the main car pack is where guests should park. Thank you again for your honest comments, and we wish you all the best in your newly married life. Chloe, Customer Support....

Excellent cottage for a quiet getaway for one or two people . Warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Endless walks in the beautiful grounds of Edgecombe Country Park. Quick trip over to Plymouth only 10 minutes on foot ferry. Also handy bus service for those who do not wish to drive. All in all, a very nice holiday cottage. Please keep it going !! A. Tibbert. ...

Quirky cottage in great location. Very clean and comfortable. As we have bus passes we tried to bus to Plymouth (1 ½ hours) Spectacular scenery! After time in Plymouth we caught the Cremyll Ferry back (15min!) Only had 4 nights, hope to go back for a whole week....
