Very nice property, just had a couple of problems that were sorted within a couple of days

Our second stay at Seascape. A great location and excellent for our dog. Disappointed to find it's booked for our preferred week next year!

We have used Classic Cottages for the past 5 years and have received excellent service. This year we stayed at Seascape Portscatho. Beautiful property of a high standard. We would highly recommend Classic Cottages and Seascape as a holiday cottage.

Great location but bungalow is steep hill from village & beach. Excellent peaceful location. Lovely bright rooms, comfortable beds, wonderful large fluffy towels. Overall very pleased with the bungalow & the weather was perfect. (Well done Classic !) Garden chairs need to be replaced please.

We have just had our ninth holiday at Seascape, we love it here. We have already booked for next year.

Fabulous location, so near to beach, pub and shop. A very relaxing stay but with plenty to offer if you want to explore this area of Cornwall.

Seascape is fantastic, superbly equipped, very comfortable and the enclosed and well tended garden was a real bonus for our dog Murphy and for our privacy. Very quiet and peaceful too.

It was just what we needed, close to the sea, one of the best equipped and most comfortable places we have ever stayed in. The owner seems to have thought of everything.

Highlight of our stay was the Friday night fish and chips we got from the van that parks up at the bottom of the road, The Atlantic Fryer, absolutely superb.

In the (slightly amended) words of Arnie - we’ll be back!

It sounds like you had a wonderful time at Seascape...and so did Murphy! It's always great to have somewhere safe for our pets to stay too. The fish and chips sound divine, just what you need when you're that close to the seaside. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Donna, Customer Support

Seascape is on a quiet residential road and a good peaceful night's sleep is assured. Excellent location: just a short walk downhill to the village, shops, beach, coast path and cafes. The Roseland is great for dog walks and the property's garden is secure and safe for dogs. The boot room/utility is a great area for drying them off and is an added bonus. Another property we can add to our Classic Cottages favourite list!

Found to be clean, comfortable with nice decor and log burner. Very poor Property Handbook with very limited (and inaccurate) information.

Reply from Classic Cottages

Thank you so much for taking the time to discuss your feedback with me. It was lovely to hear how much you liked Seascape and its great location. The owner provides instructions for the appliances and updates when necessary and the housekeeper has ensured all other information is accurate . We're so glad you enjoyed using the log burner; the owner kindly supplies extra logs at no extra cost which the housekeeper can help with. As well as the housekeeper, we are also available to answer any questions you should have during your stay. We do hope overall you enjoyed your holiday in this beautiful part of Cornwall and would love to welcome you back again in the future. Kelsey, Customer Support

Very nice property in a fantastic location

Lovely light-filled bungalow with open plan living space, well maintained and attractively decorated in coastal colours with some attractive local artwork. Even though we had a very wet week in November, it was cosy and warm to come home to. The bedrooms were a good size with comfy beds, spotless linen and towels, and plenty of storage. We didn't cook a huge amount but the kitchen was well-equipped and has nice views into the pretty garden which was visited by lots of birds. The cricket green backs on to the house so you are not overlooked. We enjoyed the welcome pack of Cornish tea, biscuits and apple juice. Seascape is in a nice residential road as you come into the village, on the flatter part of Portscatho, and has a fantastic view of the sea from the front garden. Parking on the drive in front of the house was a major plus for us as we have a bigger car.

Thanks for your lovely review - we're so pleased that you felt warm and cosy depsite not having the best weather. It sounds as if the property ticked so many boxes for you! We hope to welcome you back in the future. Julie, Customer Support

Lovely bungalow in superb location. We thought the village was delightful - 3 pubs and the most incredible village store which sold just about everything - what’s not to like! The locals were all very friendly. So easy to get to St.Mawes and to the King Harry ferry to go across to the other side and cut out a large road detour. Enjoyed backing onto the village cricket pitch, handy to walk the dog around. Bed super comfortable and such a quiet road- we slept so well whilst we were here. Kitchen well equipped. Thank you for the lovely cookies, apple juice and tea on arrival, great to sample local products. We will definitely return.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and equipped with everything you could need. Village shop was amazing and we even found goats milk there !! Lovely location. 5*

Lovely, would recommend to anyone, really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week in Sept at Seascape. And had a lovely relaxing time. It is very quiet there and perfect for a walk to the village and beach which dogs are allowed on and the Hidden Hut just there also..We were very lucky with the sunny weather but the property is so lovely and light and has a super enclosed sunny garden. Also access to the cricket ground so perfect for longer walks with our dog. The village has a good pub , cafe and shop. And fish and chip van comes to the carpark at end of road. We really enjoy ourselves here and would love to return again.Thankyou.

My teenage daughter and I, and our dog, had a delightful stay at Seascape. We loved the location - so very peaceful, and yet just a short walk to Portscatho Harbour, and its shops (really great grocery store), cafes, pubs/restaurants; and easy access to the SW Coastal Path and all the beaches which that led to. The property was well equipped and was as light and airy as the website photographs suggest - we loved it. The fenced garden was secure - important when traveling with a dog! And we appreciated the Cornish treats which we discovered on arrival. We did have a couple of days away from Portscatho, but the whole purpose of our trip was to rest and relax and Seascape provided the perfect set up for that. Overall we had a really relaxing holiday, and would recommend the property and Classic Cottages to our friends and family. Thank you to the property owner(s) for sharing their home and to Classic for connecting us!

Overall the property was in a great location, easy to access St. Mawes, Falmouth by ferry and surrounding beaches Porthcurnick a short walk away. The property itself is well equipped, good quality appliances and everything you need for a holiday stay. Negative issues, the property backs onto cricket ground and the bungalow has metal grills in place at rear windows to protect from cricket ball, however did not expect 2 men to enter the garden unannounced and go to bedroom window to remove grill. Teenage daughter had just showered and changed, narrowly missing being seen. Major potential privacy problem. Easily avoided with prior announcement of knocking at door. The property could do with a bathroom update renew grout and remove limescale. These improvements could easily make me recommend the property.

A well appointed cottage with lots of room and good parking - so much more convenient with adult or tea age children than the smaller fisherman’s cottages. Portscatho is a great little village - small but with good facilities - shop, pub, cafes, beaches.

We had an excellent holiday in Seascape. The cottage is spacious, conveniently located and well equipped.

The cottage is a lovely place to be very calm. The additional access to the cricket groups directly from the garden was a wonderful bonus for walking the dog. The fittings where of a very high standard. The arrival gifts where lovely and my husband loved the tea from cornwall.

Overall very happy with cottage - it was warm and cosy for the winter months. It is a bit of a hike up from the village but apart from that no problems.

Seascape was a great holiday cottage. It was 5 to 10 minutes walk from Porthcurnick beach, and the Hidden Hut and it was an easy down hill walk to the centre of Portscatho. The cottage had been recently refurbished and was light airy and clean. It was well equipped, far better than we expected. We were looking for a quiet, comfortable accommodation where we could chill out and still be within easy travel distance to places such as Truro and Falmouth. We were not disappointed and would recommend this property to family and friends.

Wonderful property and location from the humans And Petal the dog adores Seascape Love, Love, Love !!!??????

Seascape was a great holiday cottage for us and our dog. A perfect location - no more than 5 to 10 minutes walk from Porthcurnick beach, the Hidden Hut, Coast path and centre of Portscatho. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. It is well equipped with quality appliances, comfy beds with lovely linen and pillows. The secure garden was great for our dog and us, as was being able to enter and leave via the utility room. Would we recommend -without a doubt. Would we return - yes!

The cottage was charming, it was very well equipped and in a great location for the beach.

Seascape is a very comfortable and well equipped bungalow. The location is great, a short walk to the coaspath and sandy coves. Portscatho is a pleasant uncommercial village with a great pub, a stores and a few shops. The pizza's at Tatums and the fish and chips from the Boathouse are recommended, and if its a pleasant evening take them and have a seat overlooking the harbour to eat. A great choice for a relaxing stay in beautiful Cornwall

We were looking for somewhere we could escape the crowds but within walking distance of pubs, amenities, the beach and walks and Seascape gave us all of this in spades. The bungalow is light and bright and we enjoyed the private garden for a few BBQs - the added bonus was that we overlooked the cricket pitch; it was just a shame the team were away during our stay! The village pubs were lovely and welcoming and the amazing walks were fabulous. We were able to ditch the car and enjoy the views. One of our favourite days out was a walk over to Place where we caught the ferry to St Mawes and then the ferry on to Falmouth. A long walk but the most amazing views and pit stops for a cold beer and lunch - perfect!

As well as us humans Petal the Jug dog can’t recommend this property enough!!!

Lots of nice walks from the doorstep and close to the village centre. We liked the light and spacious feel of the property and the safe/enclosed garden for our dog - the direct access on to the cricket pitch from the garden was great for games for fetch too.

A little disappointng, and more attention to detail needed.

Couldn’t recommend Seascape enough but for selfish reasons that’s all I will say, I can’t run the risk that due to popularity it would be constantly booked up in the future!!!! ??

Loved our holiday, a lovely spacious comfortable bungalow in a quiet area. Very nice garden, safe for our dog. We went on some amazing coastal walks. Highly recommend and would love to return. Many thanks.

Liked the light rooms, log burner, welcome flowers and quiet location. Wonderful local village stores and butchers.

A great location on the edge of Portscatho with a great garden for the dog and near the beach and coast path walks.

A very well equipped cottage and perfect for taking a dog. It is within easy reach of the coastal path, a dog friendly restaurant and 2 pubs, serving excellent food. There is also an excellent village shop and butcher. The cottage is warm and inviting. There is always a good supply of hot water and beautiful, fluffy bath sheets and towels. We were very comfortable and had a lovely holiday.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Seascape. The cottage is very comfortably furnished and is very light and airy. It also has the added bonus of an enclosed, south facing garden, which was good for the dog and good for us on sunny days! It’s close to the beach and has good walks near by. The description of the cottage on the web site was good. We would return.

Fabulous location, a lovely cottage with everything you need and would love to go again.

A lovely place in a great location. Two front entrances are especially handy if you have been out walking and do not want to enter with muddy boots.

Overall we were very pleased to enjoy our 3 week stay with a lovely secure garden in a nice quiet area.

Really lovely cottage in a brilliant location. Very clean and well equipped, pleasant to come back to in evening.

A lovely cottage with just the right balance of space between bedrooms, kitchen and living area. The garden is a lovely size, great for drying wet-suits or running around in. My two boys loved the direct access onto the huge cricket field with enough space to play football or race around. Only a 5 minute walk to Porthcurnick beach or 10 minutes into Portscatho town, with its shop that sells everything you could possibly need! We had a great week swimming out to the platform in the sea, jumping off the jetty (a wet suit is recommended as the water is freezing!!), kayaking the Percuil river. Great pizzas at Tatams, delicious food at the Plume & Feathers pub, lovely rustic lunch at the Hidden Hut. We'll be coming back again!

would be more than happy to return to such a lovely property and its fabulous location.

Very enjoyable holiday in a very relaxing quiet location, perfect weather always helps.

Perfect Location and a lovely bungalow to stay in. I think it’s a lifescape staying at Seascape when you leave your busy world at home!!

Lovely bungalow, beautiful location. We had a wonderful holiday with beautiful weather. Couldn't have been better!

Stayed for a short spring break in March. Loved it. Would have booked for our summer 2018 but it is already booked up from May for the whole summer season.

My wife and I had a most enjoyable stay at Seascape. The property was very well equipped, comfortable, spacious and situated in a nice quiet location. We would like to thank the owners for a generous welcome pack. Only the weather could have been better. Thank you.

Such a wonderful stay with our doggie at Christmas time. Visited Mousehole Christmas Eve which made it all so magical. A very cosy and comfortable bungalow along with log fire and beds too. Would recommend anytime. Thank you for the milk and mince pie frangipanes. Very thoughtful and the flowers for the table - lovely!

An absolute home from home experience. It was perfect for what we required, all you had to do was put food in the fridge !, great location. Nice little village within walking distance, great pub; plume of feathers.

Although we didn't have a view of the sea, in fact the house's position was ideal since it was in a quiet road but yet we could quickly and easily walk to the beach with our dog and to the village with it's well stocked shop, galleries and friendly pub. We particularly liked the sense of space around the house, the sunny garden and the spacious uncluttered interior. We would certainly return.

Very nice bungalow with beautiful enclosed garden in the village of Gerrans on the Roseland peninsular. Perfect holiday accommodation for those with family or dog.

A gorgeous Property in a very peaceful location, the property was excellent value for money , fully equipped and very comftable with a lovely modern interior. I would definately reccommend this property and would love to return.

Very professional service; our expectations were exceeded. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Great place, lovely location.

We had a lovely break at Seascape over Easter. The location is perfect, easy to walk into the village and the beach. We have two young boys and the house was everything we wanted. So good not to have to worry about stairs and open plan kitchen/dining/kitchen meant we were all together all the time ?? Great little garden and utility space was brilliant for dumping all our sandy beach stuff! And the best coffee maker I've ever used! We would definitely recommend Seascape.

Highly recommend.

This was our third holiday in Parc an Dillon road, we found it to be located in a quiet residential area. Although a little way off the beaten track it was easy to use the King Harry ferry to go towards Falmouth / Penzance but equally handy for St Mawes which we like a lot.

Bright clean bungalow in Gerrans not Portscatho. Well equipped and good quality furnishings. Nice sunny garden which is smaller than it looks in the pictures.

Tastefully equipped, light airy bungalow situated in a lovely village very close to the sea. Pretty garden for sitting out. Off street parking, shop and pubs close by. Ideal base for sightseeing.

Highly recommended, beautiful cottage, with lovely bright, airy and modern interior. We have already booked the next holiday!

Seascape is a lovely property in a lovely location close to the coast path and the village of Portscatho. Very comfy beds and sofas, well equipped, lovely secluded garden. Would recommend Seascape for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.
