Our second visit, and despite the weather this time, we had a lovely stay. The area is blessed for beaches, walking, nature and scenery ( most of which is on the doorstep/very close ) Fabulous waterside views from the cottage. We like to kayak over to St Mawes to get pasties for lunch, or paddle the creeks to see curlews, egrets and herons. Hoping to return again for sure!

the most wonderful location for a holiday by the beautiful Percuil.

The cottage was lovely and had all we needed. The views and location are simply stunning. We would visit again in the blink of an eye. Completely relaxing with plenty of wildlife around you. We enjoyed messing about in boats, crabbing and fishing. The decor is not modern, but don't change it... it's how the cottage should be. We've loved it here and hope very much to return again.

Location is absolutely fantastic - brilliant. .

The views are absolutely stunning! The location is perfect if you have a boat, kayaks or paddle boards. If you are a family, just have a look at travel times to local attractions etc as it might surprise you how long or how much it costs to get around! & £30 to Falmouth (family of 4) or an hours drive.

Our 12 th year at Quay Cottage. Always perfect. Hoping to have many more years there !

The peaceful and isolated position of Quay Cottage on the river estuary with the beautiful views and wildlife, along with the access to the water made for an idillic and restful holiday.

I would say this is a cottage for 4 adults with a small box room for children. I also wonder why one of the main bedrooms facing the fantastic view is locked instead giving the guests that one. We had rented the cottage before the renovation several times and were keen to enjoy a more comfortable holiday. I had two guests with me who have their own holiday rentals and they were very critical of the interiors provided.

I was very happy with all that Classic cottages did but I am surprised you took this on with the state of the furnishings and plastic flowers etc !! The owners cannot rely on the view alone.

Thank you for taking the time to review Quay Cottage following your most recent stay. There is a room at this property which is locked off for the owners' use and we do not advertise this as being available to guests. We're sorry that some of the furnishings weren't to your taste, but we have passed your thoughts on to the owner for consideration. Alison, Customer Support
