A fantastic cottage with a beautiful English Garden and view of the church; which peels gently on the hour. The accommodation is in excellent condition with an extremely well stocked kitchen with all necessary equipment and very comfy, huge beds. A lovely location from which to explore Portscatho, St. Mawes and access excellent walking trails. There is a walk from the village parking to the cottage, which may not be suitable for the infirm. However, I was able to drop my mum off outside the property and then go and park. Will definitely return!!
Mrs Lucas May 2022
A delightful little cottage in Gerrans just a short walk up (but quite steep) from Portscatho. Cosy with a pretty little secluded garden and lots of homely touches. Clean and well equipped, there's nothing not to like!
Mr Lumb May 2022
Generally well equipped and furnished cottage, great location for exploring the Roseland peninsula without a car: bus stop for Truro and St Mawes about 75 metres away. We did some excellent local walks with a £20 7-day Cornwall bus ticket and the Go Cornwall app. Superb spring flowers. The garden is well looked after and good for sitting outside.
Mrs Whitfield April 2022
We have stayed in this cottage before and it was lovely to be back. The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There are lots of lovely walks on the doorstop and the local amenities are excellent meaning you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. We will definitely be back.
Mrs Felton April 2022
Another perfect stay at Driftwood Cottage. The cottage is so comfortable and clean and really well equipped. It is ideally located to explore the Roseland Peninsular. We would highly recommend The Boathouse for delicious food and a very warm welcome and The Plume of Feathers for a great pub atmosphere. The Sea Garden gift shop is a real must-visit for the perfect gift. The Thirstea Co, located at Porth Farm is definitely a welcome stop during a day at the beach or a coastal walk.
Mrs Mason October 2021
The cottage was a perfect little home for the week for us and our two small girls - the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of equipment, the cottage was cosy and comfortable and we had a great time!
Mr Roff July 2021
We really appreciated the original art work! High quality fixtures and fittings throughout, lovely neighbours (including builders!) the whole package is very well done. We've booked again next year (our third!) Thankyou
Mrs Sprowell July 2021
We thought everything was great. We loved the location, lovely walk into the beautiful Portscatho. Everyone was very friendly.
Mrs Fowler June 2021
The location, with the beautiful garden, added upto a great week. Very nicely decorated, had everything we needed.
Mrs Miller May 2021
A cosy, comfortable and welcoming cottage - situated in a beautiful spot. Driftwood has everything you need for a lovely getaway, especially the beautiful garden to relax and enjoy.
Mrs Lucas May 2021
This property far exceeded our expectations. We had been advised that there was building work being undertaken to the adjacent property , however this do not impact on us at all. Location was fantastic, and the cottage had every home comfort you could wish for. It was cosy, welcoming and a delight to come back to at the end of our day exploring the area. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked this cottage for next year! Thank you.
Mrs Felton October 2020
Just perfect. The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable. A real home from home. The location is so good for the most stunning walks. The village of Portscatho has everything needed for a really good holiday.
Mrs Pearlman October 2020
What a fantastic cottage! Superbly equipped. Everything you could need and more in one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall. We stayed as a couple but it would be a wonderful cottage for a young family
Mr Norris October 2020
Driftwood is a lovely cottage in a great location. Although quite modern in style, the cottage retains a lot of character and is beautiful place to stay. We found it to be spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and very well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location at the top of the village is very good, in a nice quiet spot off the main road road and within easy reach of the pubs and shop in the village. There is also a bus stop right outside with a regular service between St Mawes and Truro which we found ideal for increasing the range of walks available, though there are excellent coastal walks available right from the doorstep too. All in all, a great place to stay in this beautiful part of Cornwall
Mr Roff July 2020
A lovely clean, quiet place to spend a super holiday! Cottage was quiet and with a lovely garden and a welcome respite to come back to at the end of the day. Thankyou.
Mrs Thomas February 2020
Driftwood is wonderfully cosy. A real home from home.
Mr Leithinger July 2019
A very charming cottage - this was our first time in cornwall and we had some pictures in our heads. in this cottage and in portscatho, some of them really came true!

Mrs Osterloh July 2019
We had a wonderful stay in the cottage and the only problem that occurred (broken oven) was quickly taken care of - very, very good and friendly service!
Mrs Sykes June 2019
This cottage is in a lovely position on the Roseland Peninsular. There are plenty of walks, the local shops (particularly the butcher) in nearby Portscatho are excellent. Local bus service is just by the church and we used this as often as we could. It easily links to the various ferries to Falmouth and Trelissick.
The cottage was lovely to return to after enjoying all this part of Cornwall has to offer. Even though the weather was a bit depressing we managed to get out and about.
Mrs Petley May 2019
If coming to this part of Cornwall, Driftwood is the perfect self catering cottage and lovely to come back to after a day out and about in the beautiful area.
Mrs Scanlon December 2018
We had a fantastic Christmas week at Driftwood. The cottage was warm and cosy, and was fully equipped. It's a short walk to the village and the beaches, and there's easy access to the rest of the Roselnd Peninsula and beyond. Definitely a place to enjoy!
Mrs Sutherland October 2018
Driftwood Cottage is perfect for couple to stay in. I'd say it would feel cramped with any more guests. It was bright and sunny, with a lovely garden. It had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. The location is great. You have to park quite a way away, and be warned if you are tall - you will bang your head a lot! We had a very relaxing stay here.
Mrs Wrigley August 2018
Beautiful, cosy cottage in a great location
Ms Stratton July 2018
Pretty cottage in unspoilt area.good beaches a short distance away.
Mr Pietsch July 2018
The House was very clean. It‘s more better if the Garden is not so dry. Unfortunatly all the flowers were dry. And it is a so lovely Garden

Thank you for your review of Driftwood Cottage. We have experienced a particularly dry spell which has been great for days out but not been so kind to our gardens. Alison, Customer Support

Driftwood Cottage is in a very convenient location within a short walk of the sea and some great coastal walks. The layout, equipment and decoration are all very good and we would consider staying at this cottage again.
