The location of Dolphin Cottage is great for exploring the Roseland Peninsular with some lovely coastal walks on your doorstep. The cottage is good value for money, in a lovely spot overlooking Portloe, with a dog-friendly grassed garden, all the essential amenities and very peaceful in September.

A very comfortable cottage, well equipped and family friendly. Spectacular views.

Delightful cottage, beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable and clean, just what was required for a relaxing stay.

Fabulous cottage, comfy, sunny, and on the doorstep of great walks and a great pub - what more could you want?

Loved the location it’s the second time we have stayed here - lovely cottage

The cottage is in a fabulous location with wonderful coastal walks and beaches on its doorstep. The property does need updating and airing as it smells quite musty throughout but it is well equipped and comfortable with a lovely garden with sea views.

We really enjoyed being in the cottage. It had a lovely outdoor space for relaxing with brilliant views. It was so near to some great parts of Cornwall and also great walks without needing to use the car.

Excellent cottage, cosy and has everything you need. Location is a dream!

Our first impression: a strong musty smell reminiscent of neglected old peoples’ homes. Information folder very sketchy with hand-written amendments. Wifi log -on inaccurate. Kitchen equipment inadequate and some pans scratched beyond use. A rusty baking tray was taken away and replaced. Thank you. Most furniture scratched and stained. Carpets and cushions in lounge stained and worn. Drawers full of junk. Hot water boiler pressure failed one day and we were expected to follow handwritten instructions to remedy the fault with a screwdriver. PAT Testing not done since 2019. No QR Code for the NHS COVID 19 on display, nor anything similar or even standard nhs cv-19 Guidance. In this current climate – outrageous. The garden well-maintained and an absolute joy. Far from good value for money. This property is shabby and tired. What a shame, it could be stunning if some money was spent on it!

Lovely position, cosy with very very small kitchen, and lovely garden overlooking sea.

Most comfy cottage we have stayed in - had such a relaxing time will definitely book again

Lovely cottage with view of hillside and sea from the main bedroom. Well equipped. Very quiet.

This property was excellent in every respect. Fantastically equipped, very comfortable and in a beautiful location.Brilliantly equipped kitchen, with food storage space (often missing in self catering properties). Lots of clothes storage space with plenty of hangers. Great shower and bath. Lovely garden.

Liked the view. Location for runs along the coastal paths in both directions. SUPing in the harbour. Wild birds and flowers. The lovely buzz of bees.

This is a beautiful, well equipped cottage ,in a very pretty village, that's away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist route, yet a perfect base for touring the lesser known parts of Cornwall .

Very comfortable, clean and well appointed - we had everything we needed. Local pub serves good pub food at reasonable prices, but be sure to book ! Great beaches within a short drive, and excellent access to the SWC path.

Lovely peaceful location and lovely character cottage. Well equipped, cosy and homely. Small but space works really well.

Pretty cottage with great views of the sea. Lovely coastal walks minutes away. A very comfortable stay.

A wonderful time in a beautiful village

Fantastic location. Leave the bedroom window open and listen to the sea.

Lovely home from home, fabulous sea views from the bedroom and garden and wonderful to wake up to the sound of the sea crashing on the rocks.

Limited seasight. The cottage is small.

Thanks for your review of Dolphin Cottage. It is a traditonal former fisherman's cottage, and so the rooms are more compact than some modern houses. There are sea views from the double bedroom and from the garden, both at the front of the cottage. Classic Cottages

Dolphin Cottage is a warm and welcoming place to stay. It's very central for touring Cornwall and there are some wonderful coastal paths to walk.
