Having struggled to find the location of the cottage on first arrival, we soon felt at home, and loved the view over the sea towards Nare Point and Gull Island. The welcome pack was a nice touch, and the large towels were a treat. It was really quiet, and we slept well ( better quality mattress in main bedroom than on the twin beds). The location is really the star here, such a great starting point for SW coastal path, and short walk to Portscatho, and short drives to other wonderful places like Trelissick National Trust house and garden, St Mawes, Falmouth,St Anthony , some via the nearby King Harry ferry. Eating at the Standard Inn in nearby Gerrans (twice/ you need to book) was a highlight, as was the Hidden Hut ( of course! ) Judging by the Guest Book, many visitors return year after year, and we could totally see why the Roseland Peninsula is such a favourite place, made extra special by how friendly everyone we met seemed. Beautiful cottage in an amazing setting with views across the sea to Nare Head. Close to the coastal path for great walks and to the Hidden Hut for refreshments. We highly recommend it.

Booked Chick Cottage at very short notice for a long weekend out of season. Location is superb, beach just down the road, easy stroll around to Portscatho for provisions, and Rosevine and Driftwood hotels right on the doorstep. Great views and excellent walking, the enclosed garden also a bonus for our dog....

We had a wonderful holiday at the cottage..wonderful weather! Our little dog loved to be able to run around outside on the grass... and we enjoyed sitting out there too! Enjoyed walking to the beach and back and the "Hut" was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the cottage to other's! Thank you!...
