A well-presented property that was clean and well-equipped, with views of the sea. The beds were comfortable with quality linen, and the showers had good pressure with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of utensils, plates, cutlery, etc. I have stayed in lots of holiday properties over the years, and this one is well within my top ten. The table tennis, table football and darts board in the garage were an added bonus. Located just a short walk down to the water and the Victory Inn (great food and beer), plus plenty of other alternatives to eat and drink- we had a superb meal at the Hotel Tresanton. Be aware that the walk down to the water from the property is steep if you have mobility issues. St Mawes is a great base for exploring the area, and we took full advantage of all the facilities on offer. There is a very good RIB hire company on the harbour (you will need an RYA licence) that had quality boats at a reasonable day rate - just Google St Mawes RIB hire...

This was the perfect house for our family to have a short winter break. Great location in St Mawes and only a short distance to the sea. The house was really comfy, clean, warm and well equipped. Lots of personal touches in the house which make it feel very welcoming. The teenagers loved the table tennis in the garage. St Mawes is ideal for a winter break - great walks from the front door, beautiful beach for cold water swimming, good pubs for a drink, great chip shop and a well stocked coop. Beautifully decorated, superbly-equipped property. Lovely views from upstairs lounge. Great location, just a few minutes walk down the hill into St Mawes with excellent bakery, shop and restaurants. No need to use car. Ferry to Falmouth, ferry to St Anthony headland, walk to St Just In Roseland. Table-tennis fun in the garage!
