The King Harry ferry crosses the River Fal and gives easy access to the pretty cathedral city of Truro and the bustling maritime town of Falmouth.
Take the passenger ferry for a day out in Falmouth.
Pendower and Carne beaches are nearby, a wonderful expanse of sand as the tide falls back.
The Hidden Hut overlooks Porthcurnick beach.
Beautiful Heligan Gardens are a short drive away, a must for garden lovers.

This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in having visited the South West coast now for nearly 30 years. The comfort (especially the bed) was outstanding and it was so warm and cosy. The aga kept the whole cottage toasty warm - we didn't even need to light the fire!!! The area is fabulous and the cottage is only a few miles from the coastal path. It has been 20 years since we were last in this area, and Mevagissey, Carne and Pendower Beach, Veryan (my favourite village) Goran Haven etc. are all still as beautiful as I remember them. It was a great getaway in these troubled times. Thank you....
