What a gorgeous cottage in a beautiful part of the world. So many places nearby to visit. Hope we can stay again soon.

Such a well placed, suitably equipped cottage for a holiday on the Roseland peninsula. It is ideal for getting out and about as it’s close enough to the major road network to travel in all directions of Cornwall. A lovely secluded garden to enjoy too. Definitely a comfortable home from home feeling with most peoples requirements catered for.

A lovely cottage for a family with young children. Very central for exploring the area.

The cottage itself was excellent. The facilities catered for all our needs and the garden provided a haven of peace and tranquillity with a lovely lawn for the outdoor games that were provided. The only downside was the parking issue. We took two large cars and found it difficult to manoeuvre them up, and clear, of the shared drive. Resident parking did not help this!! Great care must be taken when turning onto or off the adjacent main road.

Thank you so much for your review - we are delighted to read that you enjoyed Reskivers Cottage - it sounds like the outdoor games were a real hit! This property can accommodate two cars maximum, with one small/medium in the garage but are glad that you made it work with two large cars. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Beautiful, well equipped cottage in small hamlet just off main road from Tregony. Access to cottage is a little difficult as via un-made, private road with limited turning space. Leaving cottage to join main road is not easy and did have a couple of near misses, despite taking great care. Cottage itself is spacious and furnished to a good standard, although the soft furnishings in the living room would benefit from an update. Beds are very comfortable with high quality bed linens and soft furnishings. The local area is very pretty, with lots of villages and small beaches nearby to explore.

This cottage is a gem. Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The very good WiFi was a great bonus. Not far from the coast, there are excellent coastal walks and lovely beaches. Highly recommend the pub in Tregoney for food, we got a warm welcome here and enjoyed the walk. Don’t forget your torch if you’re coming back in the dark!!

A beautiful cottage with a gorgeous garden. The beds were so comfortable and the decor was so beautiful, it was like staying in a hotel. With so many places nearby to explore and gorgeous beaches, we will definitely return.

Not an easy walk into Tregony with a young family. Not easy access from main road and parking is tight.

Reskivers cottage is a lovely home from home for our family. This is a lovely welcoming and considered space for family time and relaxing.

This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in having visited the South West coast now for nearly 30 years. The comfort (especially the bed) was outstanding and it was so warm and cosy. The aga kept the whole cottage toasty warm - we didn't even need to light the fire!!! The area is fabulous and the cottage is only a few miles from the coastal path. It has been 20 years since we were last in this area, and Mevagissey, Carne and Pendower Beach, Veryan (my favourite village) Goran Haven etc. are all still as beautiful as I remember them. It was a great getaway in these troubled times. Thank you.

Our family have loved making memories at Reskivers cottage. It feels like a home from home, such attention to detail and comfort. The perfect hideaway for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Cornwall.

Reskivers Cottage exceeded our expectations in comfort and facilities. It was exactly as described only better.

The space inside the cottage and the back garden. The decor and accessories were gorgeous and we appreciated the quality of all the household items. Different colour towels for each guest was a great touch, so no danger of using someone else's by mistake. Clear information booklet about the cottage and instructions for every machine were very helpful. There were some lovely thoughtful finishing touches which were also greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful holiday at Reskivers.A perfect country cottage for three generations and in an excellent location for visiting many wonderful places on the Roseland with easy access to further afield. We loved St Mawes, Portscatho, Carne beach, Trebah, Charlestown and all the NT places. Fabulous safe garden for young children, so beautiful, quiet, relaxing and a sun trap for early evening G&Ts!! The Aga is wonderful for cooking and creates a lovely warm homely feel to this special place. The kitchen is superbly equipped, a chefs delight.Very high quality furnishings and fittings. Extremely comfortable beds and powerful showers. Its like you are staying in someone’s lovely home and not a holiday let. However I have to be honest and say we did experience a lapse in good housekeeping ,which spoilt our arrival somewhat, namely a badly mildew stained sheet, dust and a few dirty dining and kitchen items escaped someone’s eagle eye but not ours. We had a prompt polite response from the housekeeper. Just a little more attention to detail would have given Reskivers a resounding 10/10. Fabulous place xx Thank you to the owners for providing us with a delightful holiday destination.

Extremely comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean and tidy.

Very cosy & comfortable, well equipped. Lovely quiet & safe garden, perfect for young children. Very enjoyable all round.

A wonderful cottage that provided everything our 3-generation family needed, even on the wet days. The 4 grandchildren, aged 1 to 7, loved the garden. And Grandma enjoyed experimenting with the Aga!

The garden was a delight, but we couldn't enjoy the bbq etc because of the weather. Much the best property we have stayed in,location good for beaches.

We're sorry that the weather didn't behave during your stay - hopefully the wood-burner in the cottage kept you toasty warm and you were able to cook up some tasty feasts with the Aga. Perhaps we can welcome you back when the weather is being a little kinder and you'll be able to fire up the barbecue and enjoy the fantastic outside space to its full advantage. I feel I should point out that the parking restriction is not as bad as it would seem from the description. For information, the garage and parking space will take two Vauxhall Zafira Tourer 7 seaters easily. Reasonably competent drivers will have no problems.

We really appreciate you letting us know your thoughts about the parking, and it's great to hear that you found it easy with your vehicles. We usually say that a small/medium sized car and a larger car will fit to the right of the cottage, and arrangements can be made for a third car (or larger second car) directly with the owner. lovely atmosphere in and around the cottage

We had a very enjoyable holiday in this very well-equipped and comfortable cottage, in a good location for access to the Fal estuary, south coast beaches and walks, and Gardens. Access to the parking area was awkward, primarily because of the semi-permanent presence of 2 or 3 neighbours' cars which made reversing tricky.

Thanks for taking the time to review Reskivers Cottage and we're delighted to hear that you found the cottage to be comfortable and well equipped. We're sorry that you found the parking a little tricky on occasion - there is parking for one small/medium car in the open doored garage and room for a larger vehicle behind. The neighbouring property to the right does have access rights over the drive and other cars may be parked in the area as well so a little manoeuvring may be required at times. Good well located cottage in easy reach of many great beaches & attractions such as Eden, Heligan & many National Trust properties.

The cottage was beautifully furnished, very well equipped, and a lovely garden for lazy evenings

Lovely cottage, well located for travel to most Cornwall attractions.

Comfortable and very well equipped. The owners had thought of everything we needed for a relaxing break. The cottage was so nice it was a struggle to get some of the family to go out on some days.

Any of the above comments.

Reskivers is a lovely country cottage which is equipped to a high standard. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful cottage. Great location. Cornwall is a fantastic place to visit.

Extremely well equipped cottage. We enjoyed our time at Reskivers very much. We enjoyed using the Aga everyday in the cottage, it really was a treat to use.
