We had a good week in this cottage, which is in a lovely location and enjoyed some great walks in the local area. Very good little shop for the essentials and the Pub is also handy being just a short stroll away.

Little Gem, really is just that. Riverside walks through the woods straight from the front door. We found the village friendly and the local shop sold delicious pasties, eaten warm on the village green, overlooking the river in the late autumn sunshine was perfect. The location is ideal to explore the area, or just enjoy the many local walks. The cottage is small and the spiral staircase is quite tight and as recommended a suitcase would be a challenge. The kitchen is very well equipped and the cottage is comfortable and good value. ...

Second time we have stayed at Little Gem. Love its location in a beautiful little village. Plenty of lovely local walks. Village has everything to make your stay, a nice shop/post office selling local produce & one pub Ship Inn.
