A delightful place to stay hence our return for a second stay. Mackerel Sky is a well-thought out and comfortable property. It is in a great location, with St Just (where you can get everything you need) a short walk away. It is the perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall and the bus stop on the door step is an added bonus. We highly recommend Mackerel Sky - we found it to be a most relaxing place to stay....

Lovely clean comfortable cottage. Good base for exploring & some lovely walks. We found St Just within walking distance a nice village square if you don’t want to go too far to eat.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mackerel Sky. Its always the little touches that make it a home from home like the scones, cream and jam on arrival. Also the beautiful Hydrangeas on the table. The house was very clean and the décor in excellent condition. The bed was also really comfortable which helped us to have a good nights sleep! I was on a painting retreat so the week was pretty manic as we painted in Sennen, Marazion, Penzance, St Ives and Mousehole so this was a really good base. A bonus was that I got to pet one of the kittens just before we left. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family. Thanks go to you and the owners. ...

Nice comfortable cottage ideal for 2, lovely outside space, good shower room, walking distance to St Just and able to catch the open top bus outside. Short drive to Sennen, lots to do in the area, Cape Cornwall, Bottalack mines, and the scenic drive to St Ives is a must. Enjoyed our stay....
