Mackerel Sky cottage in St Just is perfect for a holiday. The location is very quiet and ideal for a quick walk into St Just across a couple of fields or down the Cot Valley to the coast and spending many hours just taking in the beautiful coastal scenery. The cottage is warm and well equipped. 2025 was our third stay and it certainly won't be the last....

Mackerel Sky is a lovely clean and cosy cottage for two. The owner is friendly and nearby to help if needed. There is a lovely private outside space with parking. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very comfortable stay at Mackerel Sky. Owners nearby if needed, although we didn't need them as there were no problems. Great location to explore the SW tip of Cornwall. Beautiful beaches, walks and views and even in school summer holidays the area was not over crowded. Loved the Minack Theatre, Cot Valley beach (bit of boulder climbing needed to get there), great little cafe in St Just - Cafe Dog & Rabbit and trips to St Ives, St Michael's Mount, Botallack Mines and Land's End all well worth it.
