Gregs Cottage

7 Nights from £650
Mr Fletcher September 2023
An excellently equipped and perfectly situated cottage.
Mrs Batten September 2023
We had a lovely holiday at Greg’s which is well appointed and spotlessly clean. The cottage is tucked away in a quiet lane in the centre of Penzance within a stones throw of shops and restaurants. If you enjoy swimming the fabulous Jubilee Pool and Battery Rocks are an easy stroll. It also benefits from a parking space a short walk away. An unexpected joy was the beautifully tended little garden which was a pleasure to sit and relax whilst watching the birds on the feeders.
Mr Kreileder July 2023
Should we decide to visit Cornwall once again: Gregs Cottage would be our favourite. (But we would go there by train, not again by rental car. In Penzance we would not have needed a car. Driving from Heathrow and back was not that easy!)

We're delighted that Gregs Cottage was a great base for your stay. It's a perfect place if you're travelling by public transport with a mainline train station direct to London and a network of local buses. Tanya, Customer Support
Miss West July 2023

Mrs Lomas June 2023
Greg's cottage is a must if you stay in penzance, it offers everything you could possibly need ,the gardens are amazing full of flowers, a very restfull place to be after a day out . Mr Harris met us on arrival and showed us around the cottage ,very helpful.
Mr Ponter June 2023
This is a lovely little house in a great location. Just yards from the hotspots of Penzance, but in a quiet little lane that feels very out of the way. It is plenty big enough for two.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The parking space is a couple of minutes walk away, not an issue at all, but worth bearing in mind when packing.
Highly recommended.
Mrs Jameson March 2023
Delightful cottage for a singleton or couple, in ideal location whether holidaying with or without a car. This was my third visit, and I definitely hope not my last!

Highly recommended. Unlikely to find anything better in Penzance.
Mrs Conway September 2021
This is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, walking distance to the sea front, bars and restaurants and next to Morrab gardens. The cottage is extremely well equipped and the owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to make sure your stay is perfect, the bed is extremely comfortable with very good quality linen, the wet room is great and the towels are huge and fluffy. The kitchen is equipped with everything we could have need, the cottage feels just like a home and not a holiday rental. The courtyard garden is lovely to come home to, and the location is very peaceful. The welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs wine etc was very much appreciated and a lovely touch. If we return to Penzance we would most certainly try and book this property again.
Dr Richardson August 2021
Daniel and Mary Richardson, enjoyed every moment of our stay in Gregs Cottage, both the cottage and the beautiful well attended patio garden.
Given the very fine weather in Penzance, August 27 th - September 3 rd, we spent many hours enjoying the garden, and appreciated both its quietness, privacy and closeness to all amenities: promenade, shops, jubilee pool, and walks to Newlyn and Marizion.
To be met and greeted by the cottage owner at the start of our stay in Greg
s cottage, for the second time, was very welcoming and reassuring.
Thank You. Daniel and Mary Richardson
Miss Flint August 2021
We had a great holiday at Greg’s Cottage. The gardens are beautiful and a real treat to come ‘home’ to. Loved the modern shower room and all the useful equipment in the kitchen. The cottage was clean and tidy, with a full clean taking place mid-break as we stayed for 2 weeks. The parking space is a real bonus. Location is excellent- you can easily walk to the sea, shops, pubs and restaurants. Penzance ideally positioned for exploring West Cornwall. We would definitely recommend Greg’s Cottage!
Mrs Barnett July 2021
Beautiful cottage in a tucked away spot in the middle of Penzance. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Mrs Coates June 2021
Very nice garden but the photos of the property don't show that some of the furniture is scruffy and worn. Whilst we are in a pandemic, it is not right for the owners to actually enter the property after cleaning and to handle things and touch surfaces.

We're so sorry that the furniture wasn't quite to your taste; the cottage is styled with a more comfortable and traditional presentation which we feel is conveyed in the photos. The owner was so sorry to have caused any concern, he was just keen to show you in and help familiarise you with the property. We have shared guidance with all owners on sanitisation and Covid safe precautions, and all are very committed to balancing working to industry protocols with ensuring you have a great stay. Mr Stubbs May 2021
This is a good cottage but if I give a good review it will make it harder for me to book it next time?
Mrs Imms September 2020
A wonderful week at an incredibly comfortable cottage. Mr Harris was a consummate host. The cottage is very well sited with the bonus of a parking space. A quiet area but very handy for everything. A fab artisan bakery, brilliant fruit and vegetable shop and the co-op nearby meant you wanted for nothing. Highly recommended.
Ms Brightman August 2020
Owners very accommodating with my arrival time. Cottage as anticipated was brilliantly located and looked very pretty amongst all the flowers and plants. Arrival pack from owners was very thoughtful and generous - enjoyed it all. Particularly liked the easy access to secluded outside space which I took full advantage of. Liked feeling I was very much part of a resident area with lovely gardens nearby.
Thank you all very much for a very successful week - I left the car safely in situ and walked miles!!!!
Mrs Farrant August 2020
Close to amenities. Could walk to everything in town. Good bus travel
Mrs Davies September 2019
We very much enjoyed our two week stay. The cottage is very comfortable and has a lovely small private garden. The location is excellent for exploring West Cornwall by public transport and Penzance itself has good shops and facilities and is an historic and interesting town.
Mrs Niemeyer July 2019
A charming cottage with plenty of room for two and a good starting point to get to know Penzance and S & dcornwall.

The cottage is very spacious and bright with a well-equipped kitchen and a beautifully green garden. It's in the city center so close to everything and at the same time very quiet. Excellent point for exploring the western part of Cornwall. Mr Harris welcomed us with some food for the first days and was very helping when my husband got ill. Thanks again and see you soon!

Greg's Cottage offers a central but quiet location within easy walking distance of bus stops and station, the sea front and harbour and a number of good restaurants. There is plenty of space for a couple and a lovely courtyard to enjoy. Penzance is a great location to enjoy walking and sightseeing across West Cornwall and there are many cultural and outdoor activities to enjoy, from boat trips to theatre to arts festivals.

Mr Knowles September 2016
Throughly enjoyed our stay in Greg's Cottage - an ideal home from home in a quiet location. Lovely kitchen/diner and having the courtyard off the living room meant we could make the most of the afternoon sun. Great base for exploring the far west of Cornwall
Mr Darby September 2016
This is an extremely comfortable mews cottage right in the centre of Penzance. It is situated in a quiet pedestrian walkway with reserved car parking a conveniently short distance away. The cottage itself is attractively presented, well furnished, and with an exceptionally high standard of fittings. The owners, Mr and Mrs Harris, were friendly, obliging, and could not have been more helpful. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gregs Cottage.
Mrs Rees August 2016
A well-equipped cottage only a stone's throw from the town shops, yet relatively quiet and peaceful. A lovely terraced garden area enabled us to relax in the evenings, sheltered from the winds. The bread, milk, butter, eggs and soft drinks were a nice welcome gift. The blackout blinds in the bedroom were great for those lazy lie-in mornings. The bed was comfy too. Would return to this property in future.
Mr Bearne July 2016
Lovely cottage, well maintained, in a quiet location but close to shops and a park.
Mr Carr July 2016
My wife and I had a lovely week here. Very central and well equipped cottage with a lovely garden to relax in. Also a very nice welcome pack from the owners who met us on arrival.
Mrs Arnatt June 2016
Perfect spot for a town stay with no need for a car
Mr Bungay May 2016
Great place to stay for comfort a real home from home, we felt at ease the moment we arrived. Gregs cottage was also in a very good location being central to town and close to the coast. Even though we were in the town centre it was still a very quiet spot. In addition the wine, drinks, bread, butter, milk, coffee and tea etc left by host were gratefully appreciated.
Mr Lindau August 2015
The little garden is lovely. The owners always look after house and garden. They organized a perfect welcome with some drinks and food for the first meals. They are very friendly and helpful. It is a perfect location to go into the town or to make trips etc.
Mr McColm July 2015
An absolutely excellent cottage it was perfect in every way and we would certainly recommend to others
Mr Bye May 2015
A delightful holiday home that we felt fortunate to have found, close to shops, pubs and restaurants and yet peaceful. The availability of the dressing room meant that the cottage felt quite spacious for two people. We would, and have already, recommended it to others.
Mrs Pears September 2014
Lovely cottage, makes a good base for visiting the area. Allocated parking is very useful in penzance.
Ms Greenwood September 2014
Above average in every way. Could say it was perfect. Will definitely be back and recommend.
Mr Marshall June 2014
Excellent town centre position, within short walk of rail and bus station. Reserved parking is about 2 minute walk from property. The cottage is a home from home and owners on hand when moving in to provide warm welcome.
