St Michael's Mount is visible from the terrace although this is not the actual view.
Perranuthnoe beach, seen here at low tide, is just a short drive or stomp across fields from the cottage.

We had an absolutely fabulous time. The property is super, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is perfectly situated for exploring Cornwall. There are brilliant local cafe's for breakfast, lunch, morning coffee, afternoon tea a 10 minute stroll away down the cliff path and a super fish and chip shop for a quick evening meal in the next village. Highly recommend Kota in Porthleven for a special meal. If you are coffee geeks, as we are, you can get a great cup (and pastries) at the Origins Roastery again in Porthleven and further afield at The Lands End Coffee Company (a roastery in converted shipping container). We were lucky to be able to go out of season so nowhere was too crowded. We spent most of our time walking on the beaches so I don't have any recommendations for things to do. The two places we did go were somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't particularly recommend Geevor Tin Mine or Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens. This is possibly slightly unfair as they have obviously taken huge financial hits because of Covid and are struggling to recover. The view is everything - it is SIMPLY STUNNING....

For us this was a perfect place. Good house, great views, peaceful patio, model village pub half a mile away, uncrowded beach with great cafe. After a day in crowded tourist attractions it was a relief to get back. We frequently congratulated the owners on their choice of location, and on their attention to detail and good taste. We would happily come back....
