Loved Blue Seas. Very comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Of course the location and the panoramic view over Mounts Bay to St Michael’s Mount from the ‘conservatory’ is the hallmark of the property.

We really enjoyed sitting in the conservatory and watching the sun set behind St Michael's Mount. You get a 180 degree view from the windows of sea and big sky, it is marvellous especially in cold weather when the garden, also nice for sitting out, is not so appealing. The beds are very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The small downside is that the cottage (if you have mobility issues) is a bit of a trek from Perranuthnoe village/beach: uphill on the way back and along bridlepaths! But the views and the wildflowers make it worthwhile. It is possible to drive. We had no problem parking in the village in June but high season could be more difficult. All in all, a beautiful part of the world. ...

Mrs Whitehurst September 2025
The location of Blue Seas is wonderful, fantastic views from the decking and the sun lounge area. House is in a good location to access lovely beaches, places of interest and places to eat. Amenities within the house were reasonably good; comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen - but there were quite a few areas in which the house could be improved which would allow it to go from good rental, to a great one! House decor pretty tired and level of cleanliness in places not great. Main bathroom pretty dated and needs some upgrading and attention. Wi-Fi was not great at all, struggled with coverage for mobile phones and iPad. Sofa in the inner lounge area where the TV is located is very uncomfortable. Outdoor decking would really benefit from the addition of some comfortable seating to make the most of the fantastic views. Currently there is only an aged dining table and chair set. There is a good sized shower, but as it is located in the utility room which has large glass windows and a glass door onto decking and the room has no blinds/curtains - this makes the shower difficult to use if you want privacy. In the bungalow there is also a very small shower/wc room, and another over bath shower in the main bathroom, but the shower situated in the utility room is definitely the better one, so blinds in this room, and a lock on the door, would certainly be an advantage if being rented by a group. Parking space on the front drive is enough space for two cars, but access onto the road can be tricky as bungalow situated on a blind bend, so would definitely suggest reversing into the driveway to make pulling off safer. ...

The property was everything we expected it to be. We were very lucky with the weather however the outlook and the location would have made our stay wonderful regardless. The website was easy to navigate and easy to share with friends and family. This made organising the stay very easy...

A beautiful house with an extraordinary view. The bedrooms are the perfect size, there are plenty of living spaces and the bathrooms and kitchens are more than adequate. Cant recommend highly enough.
