The Parlour is the largest of a group of three cottages at this coastal Dorset Farm, the front door is around the right side of the cottage.
The incredible view of Dorset's famous landmark, Golden Cap is right in front of you.
The kitchen is very well-equipped with a large pantry in the corner.
There is a sunny, enclosed patio with that fabulous view.
The double bedroom (Bedroom 1) has a king-size bed.
Everything that you need to create a holiday feast.
The comfortable living/dining-area has French doors that really celebrate the view.

The Parlour is next to The Linhay (2661). Both are designed to be very private but can be linked together to create a larger cottage.

The second bedroom (Bedroom 2) has plenty of space for three beds.

The Parlour is in the nearest cluster of buildings to the left of the photograph, Golden Cap is beyond and Chideock village is to the right.
Walk for miles and miles in the wonderful scenery of the National Trust Golden Cap estate.
Charmouth beach is a great place for children to search for fossils.
National Trust Lambert's Castle is an undiscovered gem for walks with extraordinary views of the Jurassic Coast (you can see to Portland) and the Dorset countryside.
Visit West Bay with it's sandy cliffs. It's the 'home' of Broadchurch.
Venture a little further afield to 'Hardy Country' near Dorchester. This is Thomas Hardy's cottage.
The beautiful little town of Lyme Regis deserves a visit. Take a walk along the historic Cobb and, at low tide, perhaps go on a fossil hunt.

We had a very enjoyable week staying in the parlour with our 8 month old son. The location is simply stunning and the property really makes the most of the views. It was so nice to only hear birds of the morning and no noise of cars or neighbours. There is a campsite in the field right next door but that didn't disturb us at all and again the farm was also very quiet during our stay only seeing the tractor a couple of times. We found the property to be a great base for exploring the immediate area with Lyme Regis, Beer and West Bay only a short drive away. We also did one day in Weymouth and this was only a 40 min drive. We took a walk down to Seatown and found the lovely pub and had lunch there on our first day. We found the cottage to be comfortable and largely clean but the soft furnishings and decor did seem a little tired and a couple of items were sadly unusable kettle had too much limescale to use for boiling water for our 8 month son and the parasol for the garden table was missing a bolt to secure it to the base, which meant sadly we couldnt sit out and have our dinner on the lovely outdoor table as we had no where to keep our son in the shade. We've stayed in a number of holiday cottages over the years and I would say this has the best location we have ever experienced but we have stayed in others where the cottage feels nicer....

Had a great week at The Parlour. Kitchen was really well equipped - the best I have experienced in a holiday let, particularly having good knives and pans. Owner was very helpful when we had left some items behind and along with Classic Cottages arranged to have them returned to us. Fabulous location, with amazing views and two great pubs within walking distance. Beautiful coastal walks from the door....

Wonderful cottage. Extremely well equipped, very clean, and the pillows and mattresses were the most comfortable of any place I’ve ever stayed. Great location, with fabulous pubs within 10 mins walk, and an easy walk to the beach. And what’s a view. Can’t fault anything, it was perfect....
