The Linhay can be booked with The Parlour (2662) and linked together via a set of soundproofed double doors if guests wish; otherwise it is a very private cottage in its own right.

Visit Lyme Regis for fantastic fossil hunting at low tide. The Golden Cap estate, where you can walk for miles, is perfect for walkers of all ages.
Golden Cap is the tallest part of the Dorset coast and is a fantastic place for walks. There is also the sea at Charmouth and Lyme Regis, is you prefer something more adventurous!
Travel along the scenic coast road to Weymouth and spend a day partaking in water sports, swimming or walking along the beautiful sandy beach.
The countryside of Dorset has to be seen to be believed. These are the bluebell-covered slopes near to Lambert's Castle, which is very near to the cottage.

This is a fantastically well appointed cottage in an ideal, tranquil location near the sea. Great for walkers; right on the coastal path and no need for the car in the evening with two good pubs serving food within walking distance. The treats provided by the owners on arrival are the cherry on the cake. Highly recommend....

The cottage was decorated beautifully. It had a well equipped kitchen everything we needed to prepared a meal. Thank you for the welcome gifts lemon drizzle cake was delicious. This cottage is in a beautiful location 10mins easy walk to the beach and within easy drive to most dorset beauty spots. We enjoyed our view and walk up to gold cap. We hope to visit again next year ...

We would recommend it to anyone, particularly as a base for walking. Outstanding walks in every direction, and good pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance. Chideock is such an interesting village when you get to know it better. A fabulous area altogether....

A great little holiday bolt-hole for 2 and well placed for visiting the Jurassic Coast. Bus service very good and local eateries offer a good range of options. Fascinating local history which is highlighted in an information sheet at the cottage. The little Catholic Church is a gem and well worth finding as it has a local history exhibition which was a rare find. The star has to be the coast and we had wall to wall sunshine which helped us to enjoy it to the full....

The decor was charming: liked the co-ordinating towels; the kitchen was excellently equipped; it was cosy and ideal for a couple. We loved the welcome pack of wine, milk, flowers and a delicious cake: a really nice touch from the owner.
