Excellent location, good pubs within walking distance with great gluten free options (The Anchor Inn at Seatown and The George Inn just up the road). Stunning coastal walks directly from the cottage. Owners were really helpful and good communication with them when we needed to with regards to Covid-19 restrictions. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks!

Comfortable bed and sofa.
Hot water readily available at all times.
Comprehensive range of cleaning supplies provided.

Welcome wine and chocolates a nice touch.
A lovely little cottage in a pleasant, quiet location.
Mrs Emmett August 2020
The Linhay is a lovely, bright, airy cottage which is tastefully furnished in neutral colours. The lighting in the lounge is particularly good as you can adjust the level of lighting to suit reading or use dimmer lighting for TV watching etc. The outside seating area is tastefully decorated with pebbles and plants and is a good place to sit and enjoy a barbecue.
The location is ideal for those keen on walking as there are plenty of wonderful walks from the door. A footpath from the farm leads to the coast path and the beaches of Seatown and Eype. You will not be disappointed with the cottage but just be aware that there is no washing machine, so advisable to plan for this.

The LINHAY is a lovely cottage and most ideally situated as a base to explore the Dorset coast. It is well within easy reach of two lovely Chideock pubs and, as we tavelled most days on local transport to enjoy the local sights, two bus stops. It is also an ideal place to start local walks and hikes.

A great little holiday bolt-hole for 2 and well placed for visiting the Jurassic Coast. Bus service very good and local eateries offer a good range of options. Fascinating local history which is highlighted in an information sheet at the cottage. The little Catholic Church is a gem and well worth finding as it has a local history exhibition which was a rare find. The star has to be the coast and we had wall to wall sunshine which helped us to enjoy it to the full.

Good location for walking the coast, well maintained cottage, with a very good welcoming pack. There were some adverse comments in the visitor book about the view through the window from this cottage (railway sleepers). Being a photographer I actually found them interesting and photogenic. We are only there for a brief moment in a lifetime.
