Visit Lyme Regis for fantastic fossil hunting at low tide. The Golden Cap estate, where you can walk for miles, is perfect for walkers of all ages.
The much-loved cliffs of West Bay, which is very close to the cottage, the location for dramatic scenes on the television programme Broadchurch.
Golden Cap is the tallest part of the Dorset coast and is a fantastic place for walks. There is also the sea at Charmouth and Lyme Regis, if you prefer something more adventurous!
Travel along the scenic coast road to Weymouth and spend a day partaking in water sports, swimming or walking along the beautiful sandy beach.
The countryside of Dorset has to be seen to be believed. These are the bluebell-covered slopes near to Lambert's Castle, which is very near to the cottage.

A neat, well proportioned cottage for one or two people, in a quiet and peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside but only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. A great base to explore the Jurassic Coast. West Bay beaches and harbour and the bustling town of Bridport with it's excellent shopping are a 10 minute drive away. Charmouth and Lyme Regis are a short drive from the cottage with lots to see and do in these lovely seaside towns....

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable. There was a generous supply of large mugs which we liked and crockery etc. Also although a small cottage it felt quite spacious.

The Linhay is a very comfortable cottage for a couple, in an excellent location for walking in the Dorset countryside. The facilities are all good. A very pleasant cottage for a good holiday.
