Our first visit to Somerset, & we weren’t disappointed. Such a beautiful cottage set at the bottom of the Quantock Hills. Loved the fact you could do numerous walks from your doorstep. The cottage was lovely & clean, many thanks to Jules the housekeeper. Very cosy, comfortable beds, just loved everything about it. Also the local pub The Plough, which was 5 minutes walk, friendly staff good food & a nice selection of Beers/ales. We visited Watchet, Cheddar Gorge & Dunster Castle, as well as a visit to Kilve Beach & Chantry Tea garden near the beach. The carrot cake was lovely. The only complaint was our week went too quickly.

Beautiful cottage, comfortable and clean. Fantastic range of walks from the house. Beautiful peaceful garden. Near to the coast, Somerset levels, Wells and Glastonbury.

A lovely cottage with all facilities and situated in a pleasing area.

A charming cottage which exceeded expectations. Beautifully appointed and very well-equipped. Such a peaceful atmosphere- it was a delight to sit in the little garden and listen to the brook and the birdsong. This part of the Quantocks must be one of the most beautiful in the UK.

Gorgeous place, beautifully designed and fitted out. Would happily stay there again.

Our third stay in the cottage and every bit as enjoyable as previous visits.

Beautiful cottage in perfect surroundings for a peaceful holiday. Great location for walking and soaking up the beauty of the Quantocks.

We had a fab week and the cottage was in a good spot for us to do some walking and discover the area. It was our first time to visit Somerset. The cottage itself was a delight. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean

Enchanting stay, pretty cottage with a beautiful cottage garden

This cottage comes highly recommended- in a quiet location with high quality furnishings and fittings, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, great location for walks from the door and also near to the coast.

I loved the tasteful decor & beautiful garden features of the cottage & so well equipped, warm & cosy. It was a wonderful location to stay at with so many lovely interesting walks straight from the door...I didn't use my car all week!

I lovely little cottage with all amenities and in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful cottage in a fine location for exploring the Quantocks. Peaceful spot but allows you to be as relaxed or as active as you want to be.

Beautiful cottage, furnished very tastefully. Very comfortable beds with high quality bed linen. Bath towels a bit on the small side. Very friendly neighbours. Good selection of books, maps and other information.

A dream came true, what a pretty cottage this is...When I stepped into the cottage I,ll started to cry..so beautiful. we,ll spend most of the time in the cosy kitchen.the surroundings are also spectacular!!like cheddar gorge, and Lynmouth/Lynton,exmoorwith the poneys, kilve beach and the lovely villages Allerford and Selworthy, all not so far away. The very best for everyone who is coming to this wonderful brookside cottage.

A quiet escape to the country in a beautifully styled thatched roof cottage. We stayed with our 4 year old and enjoyed exploring Dunster Castle and their haloween trail, throwing, rolling and piling the pinky purple stones at Porlock Weir, a trip on the steam train and a drive to Glastonbury and Wells.

Beautiful cottage, in a wonderful and peaceful location, perfect for walking and just relaxing.

Idyllic cottage with beautifully maintained gardens.

We loved the cottage it was exactly like the photos and descriptions.

I would recommend the cottage and Classic Cottafes to my friends.

We have booked with various agents for our three month tour of the UK and Classic Cottages were the only company to mail information to our address in Wester Australia. First class service.

Beautiful cottage in superb location for walkers.

It has to be given a golden award . The equipment is perfect. The locotation is like a fairy tale. The little garden is lovely. We were overwhelmed and we had a lot of houses in europe

The location is absolutely perfect for walkers - so many different walks in the area and all straight from the front door.

Fantastic location for exploring the Quantocks, at junction of Holford and Hodders Combes.

We can absolutely recommend this beautiful cottage. Cleanliness, equipment and interior design are stunning. For one week, this cottage became a second home to us.

We had a really good time at this cottage and if we are lucky we will spend another holiday in this cosy home. I can absolutely recommend it to anyone who is interested in spending his time in this area. Thank you

Absolutely stunning cottage which is furnished and maintained to the highest possible standards. The location is perfect for exploring Exmoor and the Quantocks.

An idyllic thatched cottage in very quiet location - the babbling brook is the loudest noise you can hear as you sit reading in the beautiful cottage garden. Many lovely walks of different lengths and difficulty on the doorstep, and within easy reach of Coleridge's cottage and Dunster Castle. A very relaxing and reinvigorating break with the bonus of some delicious cream teas.

Tranquil, comfy and friendly cottage which catered well for us and our 3 year old girl.

Beautiful cottage which has been very tastefully furnished in an idillic setting. Neighbours lovely people who always stopped to chat and offer advice and assistance.

The perfect cottage for a peaceful break but with plenty of great days out right on the door step. The village is quiet but friendly (with a great hotel for food and drinks up the road so no car needed!) and we soon met the neighbours. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully furnished and the gardens just lure you out to sit in the sunshine and relax. Recommend and would book again.

Lovely cottage with everything you need in a rural and scenic location. Have used classic cottages for 3 years now and wouldn't go with anyone else. Highly recommened.

A charming property, beautifully presented and in a lovely location.

Lovely, well equipped cottage (very comfy beds!) in a beautiful location. Fantastic walks and strolls right from the doorstep with a pub at the end of the lane. Kids loved paddling in the brook running alongside the cottage. Great neighbours who gave us advice about places to visit. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and picturesque property. Peaceful and idyllic. Great location for walks. Good food available in local pubs.
