The Wool Shed was a beautiful cottage. Very well equipped. The owner provided an excellent hamper with local produce. Even a tasty slice of cake each to enjoy on arrival.

June 2017

Had a really good stay in a lovely setting and the hamper full of local produce was a nice touch. The host was very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

May 2017

A beautiful cottage - highly recommended. Lovely touches by the owner and well equipped. Good location.

December 2016

Great location for exploring Dartmoor, great pubs and restaurants nearby. Very cosy cottage with excellently equipped kitchen. Not really suitable for more than one medium sized dog.

August 2016

The Wool Shed is a fantastiv place to chill. Quiet and calm but within no distance to Tavistock and other great locations. We learned that english country cheese is very tasty, english milk is creamy and even the bread is much better than prejudices tell. :-) All in all we enjoyed the cottage and ourselves very much.

May 2016

A perfect place to stay on your holiday wether for a few days or for weeks. The owner is lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend it to any couple.

May 2016

Quite relaxing and very comfortable. Our third time visiting. Only stayed three days felt like a week.

April 2016

Very comfortable cottage in a great location. Really away from it all, the only sounds were birds and sheep. To get there - follow the directions provided and not, like we did, your sat nav!

March 2016

Beautiful conversion. Thoughtfully and imaginatively done. Peaceful with beautiful views over the hills. Dog friendly a plus.

March 2016

We had an amazing few days in the Wool Shed. Would recommend highly. Our dogs had a lovely time! And beautiful walks on Dartmoor.

December 2015

Spending our New Year at The Wool SHed was the perfect end to the year. Absolutly loved it, what a beautiful place.

November 2015

We had a fantastic time staying at the wool shed! It was a surprise trip for my fiancés birthday and he loved it! The lovely owner bought a bottle of prosecco and made a birthday cake for our arrival (on request) to make the stay extra special! We also arrived to a local produce welcome hamper which was a great touch! The cottage is clean, very modern and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We will definitely be returning!!

November 2015

Beautiful well equipped cottage with welcoming friendly owners - perfection!

October 2015

The Wool Shed is gorgeous, extremely comfortable and well presented with excellent bed linens and huge bath towels as well as a very warm welcome. A perfect place for a break.

September 2015

A lovely location with superb accommodation made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

August 2015

The wool shed is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. Incredibly stylish interior, in a lovely old building nestled on the edge of Dartmoor; what a great location! Annie was a perfect host, and the welcome pack was a delightful selection of local produce to arrive to. I cannot recommend it more highly; we will definitely be coming back.

August 2015

Fantastic cottage in brilliant location for exploring the area. Us and our dog made feel exceptionally welcome by warm friendly owners. Would absolutely stay again. Decor, welcome basket and facilities excellent!

May 2015

The Wool Shed is gorgeous, welcoming and comfortable. Perfect base for exploring Dartmoor. Feels like you are miles and miles from anywhere yet Tavistock is just 10 minutes by car. Perfect for us as The Wool Shed is dog friendly as are loads of nearby places and pubs! Will definitely stay again and tell our friends how great it is!

March 2015

This is a fantastic dog friendly cottage in a lovely area. It has been lovingly renovated and equipped with lots of special little touches. The owner was so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. The wool shed is perfectly situated in the middle of devon so other areas are within easy driving distance but dartmoor is so beautiful, it is not really necessary to travel far.

July 2014

So lovely and peaceful. Situation is very quite yet the town and moors very close. ideal for chilling and touring.

April 2014

best get away we've been too. And we've been to a lot. Booked on line so you never really know what it will be like. Location much better than expected. Welcome a 10. Furnishings fabulous. Inventory well though out. Little designer touches. Brill. Easy booking. Good directions. We want to stay again. So please don't book.

April 2014

Great place to stay and the owner went out of her way to make things as comfortable as she could. Highly recommended.

September 2013

It feels like a long drive down through narrow lanes but you do get there in the end. Our dog felt at ease and wandered around the property without going into the farmers fields.

August 2013

The Wool Shed was a great place to stay. The views from the farm were stunning, and we were made so welcome.

Our every need was provided for without our hosts being intrusive.

Annie provided the most wonderful welcome basket we have ever had, full of local treats and mouth-watering titbits.

If you require the tranquillity of the country side with the convenience of being close to a town then Lower Chaddlehanger is the place to stay.
