Gorgeous location. Owners very welcoming and made arrival easy. Wouldn’t recommend just staying on the ground floor. In hindsight rental if the whole house would’ve been better. Shaldon is a beautiful town.

We had a lovely time at Bay Cottage, the location is amazing, the cottage is among the best equipped we have ever had, & the beds & furniture are comfy & inviting. Very reassured regarding the cleaning procedures which are in place especially given the current pandemic. Everything had been thought of, the owners are lovely & still managed to give us a warm welcome whilst social distancing! The fresh flowers in our rooms were a lovely touch & much enjoyed. Just got back from a lovely stay in Bay Cottage. The views from the lounge are fantastic and the close proximity to everything that Shaldon has to offer was perfect. The lovely super king sized bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. We would thoroughly recommend Bay Cottage as a delightful place to stay and hope to be back next year. ...

Cottage was perfect, location was excellent. Everything you need in one place. It was spotlessly clean, all the home furnishing and fresh flowers around the house made it super luxurious.
