We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wheel Barn. It was comfortable and warm and it was lovely to have things such as a proper reading light in the living room and mirrors where you need them. The location is lovely although stepping straight out of the front door onto the road, with a keen dog, was a bit hairy occasionally! The bed was a bit too firm for me (and why don't more rentals have super king-size beds?) but that's a minor quibble. The electric hob has the most ridiculously complicated operation system I have ever seen but again, not a real problem. The garden is very safe for dogs although a bit small for larger breeds but you can see that in the photos. All in all, we had a lovely, restful, peaceful mini break and would happily return....

We had a fantastic stay over the Christmas period and really appreciated the little Christmas extras provided by the owners who made us feel very welcome. Wheel Barn was very comfortable, warm and homely. We felt really at home from the minute we walked through the door. The barn is in a lovely location and really convenient for visiting lots of places on the Cornish Coast....

The cottage is well located for visiting both coasts. It is spacious for two people and a dog with the garden being a bonus. Owners are friendly and provided helpful local information.

Helpful owners who advised us on where to visit in the area. Peaceful setting. Great walks for dogs at Ladock Woods. Central location for visiting coastal areas - all within one hours drive. Would recommend cottage.
