A superb environmentally barn conversation cottage. You want for nothing, the extra's in the garden are fantastic. A sauna, hot tub and barbecue, you literally want for nothing. Total relaxation is absolutely guaranteed!

Cottage is in a good location for visiting different attractions in the area. We found the cottage to be of a excellent standard and had the added bonus of a hot tub and sauna. The hosts were very welcoming and we appreciated the welcome gift pack.

An excellent property very comfortable and well appointed. The owners pleft a number of extras for us which were very much appreciated. A great location for touring around the area and also very peaceful for relaxing in the garden.

What a fantastic place to stay. Could not fault it and we loved being so close to the levels and all the bird life there. Things we loved - comfy living area for our evenings in, warm and cosy with the underfloor heating, very comfortable bed for a peaceful night's sleep, exceptionally clean and well thought out throughout. One of the best places we have ever stayed....

A return to the Old Barn after several years and it is just as fantastic as we remembered. The cottage is very well appointed - the owners have thought of everything that you might want in a rental cottage. The kitchen is very well appointed and it is a pleasure to cook in. A wonderful welcome pack including cream tea and wine - what more could you want! Beds are very comfortable, both the whirlpool bath and shower are great. Unfortunately we did not manage to use the hot tub or sauna - the days we were around it was a bit too drizzly to sit outside, but we know from out previous visit that the garden is lovely and sunny and very quiet. Location is very good - we play golf at Burnham & Berrow, which is 15 minutes away. Wedmore is a pretty village about 15 minutes away, and Wells and Glastonbury are about 30 minutes - both worth a visit. For any wildlife spotters, the Somerset Levels have lots of nature reserves and you can spend ages watching the birds - we particularly like Steart Marshes and Avalon Marches. There are also lots of walks and historic houses and gardens to visit. We have just booked our next trip to the Old Barn....
