The Old Barn was such a welcome respite for us this summer. It has everything anyone might need as every detail has been carefully thought out by the owners, Nicola and Andrew, who were so welcoming and determined to look after us while providing absolute privacy. From the extremely generous welcome goodies to the relaxing colors and decor, we found the Old Barn to be the best we have ever come across. The air conditioning was a life saver during the unusual heat wave. The whirlpool bathtub and beautiful back garden with lovely furniture and umbrellas were also greatly appreciated as was the covered parking in the Dutch barn. Sauna and hot tub are added bonuses. Loads of little adventures to go on in this part of the country. Just an overall fabulous stay....

This barn is absolutely fantastic, we said Wow, when we walked in. Easy to get to and massive parking barn. Spotlessly clean with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Nice edible treats waiting for us too. The bed was so comfortable and we had a good sleep every night. The owners are lovely, very helpful and approachable but discreet. We didn’t think we’d use the hot tub, but we were in almost every night, to rest our worn out legs from sightseeing. Recommend Wooky Hole, updated since we went years ago and good value for all the attractions, not just the interesting caves, also updated with projections. Can’t fault the barn at all! ...

Cannot fault this accommodation. Everything has been thought of to make your stay feel luxurious and extremely comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment, comfy places to sit on the sofa and around the dining table, comfy bed, lovely hot showers and bath, soft towels plus a very generous welcome pack. We wish we could transport the Old Barn to our other favourite areas to visit in the UK, although Somerset is a beautiful county and ticks all the boxes for us too. ...
