Bovington Tank Museum is home to a unique collection of over 300 vehicles, regarded as the best in the world and includes the world's first ever tank.
Lulworth Cove is certainly worth the trip.
The view from Studland's sandy beach with Old Harry Rocks in the distance, the very beginning of the Jurassic Coast.
Nearby Monkey World, is a 65-acre ape and monkey sanctuary and rescue centre.

Beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Lovely and warm when needed and we appreciated that we could control the heating ourselves, rather than being limited like other places we have stayed over the years. In a very quiet and peaceful side street. We had a small issue upon our arrival but the housekeeper cheerfully responded quickly and fully sorted it out. The access to the parking area in the rear garden certainly needs caution but is fine - we have a VW Polo and managed ok by folding in the wing mirrors. It’s just good to have safe secure parking on site. Corfe Castle village was a little disappointing to us personally by way of eateries, but the bakery does very good filled rolls, cakes, pastries etc. And the village shop near the station is excellently stocked and with pleasant staff. There is a lovely gift shop called Seasons Green in West Street. There are plenty of walks from the cottage, and we called by the station of the Swanage Railway most days to watch the activity for a lovely dose of nostalgia. ...

Previous comments have mentioned the difficulty in parking. May I add that if you have a car that has automatic braking it is nearly impossible to park in the allotted space. The property wasn't as clean in a couple of areas as I would have liked. The shower screen in the ensuite was smeared and had not been cleaned properly as was the windowsill that had the remains of the previous people's toothbrush. The scales in the kitchen was covered in dust as was the unit where the TV was stood in the living room. ...

This is a stunning location for a holiday. We could walk from the door of the cottage or drive a shorty distance to walk on the coastal paths. 2 Penny's is comfortable and spacious. Hopefully we'll be back someday.
