This is our 2 stay at Driftwood.We all had another lovely stay, The house is always lovely and clean and plenty of room for our family of 5 and a labrador. We love the location, for walking to the beach with our dog and the train station for St ives at the bottom of the hill. Also 3 lovely places to eat in walking distance of the house. Its in a great location to explore lots in this lovely area....

Driftwood is a great location. Minutes walk down the hill from Lelant station which is a beautiful 10mins train ride to St Ives which saves you having to find somewhere to park. It’s a hop skip and a jump to the Badger Inn next door, close to a lovely woodland walk if you have a dog and close to Tesco’s and Lidl for the shop. Driftwood is comfortable and perfectly located for walks to Porthkidney beach and for hoping on the train to St Ives. The house was modern, clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our break and will definitely be back.

We had a brilliant stay at Driftwood. We felt everything in the house was really good quality (I’ve even come home and ordered the same towels!!) and everything was well equipped. There were plenty of plates, cups etc and utensils - everything had been thought through and the welcome cream tea was delicious. The location of the house was perfect in my opinion. A short walk to Porthkidney Sands which is just beautiful. We can also recommend Mexico Towans beach (very steep sandy hill to climb up and down so be prepared), but gorgeous once you’re down there and dog friendly. The outdoor shower at the house was a god send after being at the beach all day! On the first Saturday, the weather wasn’t too great so we went to Penwith crazy golf which was good fun. We also ventured to Lands End and St Ives which were both great days out too. We took the train from the bottom of Station Hill (Lelant Station) to St Ives for just £2 per person each way. It’s just 10 mins with great beach views along the way! We loved our stay at Driftwood and the kids asked why we could’n’t have stayed longer! Thank you for a great holiday ??...
