Bedroom 2 has a characterful sloping ceiling - and therefore a slightly lower than standard, 4ft 6' double bed.

The Old School Gables is attached but completely separate from The Old School House for the village.

This beautiful cottage was the home of the Dorset novelist, Thomas Hardy and is one of a number of places to visit near Dorchester, that are connected to the author.
Dorset and Somerset have miles and miles of spectacular, undulating hills and country walks.
