We stayed with friends to celebrate my 75th Birthday and had an excellent short break. The cottage is bigger than it looks in the pictures and was very comfortable but the main attraction was the pool and games room which provided hours of fun. So special to have it all to ourselves. Many thanks to the owner for all the little extras. We have been using Classic Cottages for many years and we are never disappointed but this was extra special. Can recommend Avon Mill Garden Centre for excellent lunches, cakes etc plus of course plants and gifts....

Aveton is lovely with everything you would need and more. I brought tea towels washing pods, tea and coffee, torches etc but no need it is all provided. Packing will be so much easier next time! The pool is fabulous, the views from the gym/sun room are lovely and the games room is great fun and is complete with radio. Did I mention the peace and quiet? It’s perfect, we can’t wait to return. Luxurious cottage with superb facilities including use of a private pool which my boys (ages 7 & 9) absolutely loved. Consistent water depth of 1.2 M so no concerns. Beautiful peaceful grounds & lots of great days out nearby including a selection of lovely beaches, Pennywell Farm, Crealy Theme Park, Dartmouth, Salcombe, Wembury (fantastic horse riding school) and many more ... we’d love to return one day - we all thoroughly enjoyed our week away ... thank you Helen & Classic Cottages ??...

Exclusive use of the pool was a real draw. Bedrooms really comfortable. Excellent location; chilli farm just around the corner was great, with fab free tour, Greenway National Trust property close by and definitely worth a visit.
