Gavin and Nicky were fabulous hosts - the property and situation are just sublime, the house is unfussy which adds to the relaxing quality. The views out of the windows of the surrounding countryside are wonderful. This is really a place to come and rest, even with small children. On that note - the children loved 'their' room. They said the beds were the comfiest ever and slept brilliantly. It is really dark which is a also a winner. Brilliant provision of simple clean toys (a farm, trainset and Dr Suess books) which the girls played with enthusiastically. All in all, perfect....
