We spent 4 weeks at the location from the middle of May to middle of June. We found happiness and peace outside of time and space, a place to feel at home, cottage and hosts make it easy for guests to feel welcome at once. Sunsets on the front terrace were great. There is enough space for 2 more visitors (we were 2 adults and a dog). Our hosts were so friendly and caring, helpful, and sympathetic. We got detailed insider advice before every trip we planned. We felt immersed in many aspects. Daily strawberries were provided in the Village shop 5 minutes away opened 7 days a week, superb organic food is sold at the Trevaskis Farm Market a 10-minute drive away on the way to the beach. We had wonderful bicycle tours, but roads sometimes are rather steep. There was an endless supply of breath-taking panoramas at the Coast Path and spectacular sights of cliffs, water and nature where we hiked almost daily. The location is great with three coasts easily accessible within half an hour – and still quiet and remote. Our Border Collie had to sleep upstairs in the cottage apart from us but got used to it. The well maintained, enclosed garden gave him shady resting places. He loved to play at Godrevy beach (only 15 minutes’ drive) where dogs are not banned before July 1st. Thank you, we had a fabulous time at Bolankan View. A beautiful cottage in a lovely, peaceful, rural location. Easy drive to gorgeous beaches on North and South coasts. Super comfy beds, very well equipped kitchen. Excellent garden for our dog too. And very helpful and hospitable owners (yummy homemade scones and bread...) Definitely hope to return. ...
