Mrs Watson September 2020
Have stayed in Garden Cottage several times. Always clean and comfortable and an excellent base for visiting the area.
Dr Kaye August 2020
On the website it mentions a narrow entrance. We have a Ford Focus Estate and while we had to be careful, it wasn’t very difficult. Same for turning. Also a massive white van managed to pass through the gateway.
Mrs Ryan July 2020
Garden cottage, whilst small, is very comfortable and has everything you need. Great location in the village with a short walk to the local shop and two pubs. Jean and David are fantastic hosts. The cottage is attached to their home (the cottage has a separate, very large garden) so they are always on hand to ask questions or even let you back in when your two year old locks you out!
Mrs Hall September 2019
We would have liked somewhere a little cheaper, but the cottage was luxurious and very comfortable/enjoyable so not overpriced.
The fridge had a good sized freeze box in it which is useful for icepacks for packed lunches.
The agency confirmed to us that the heating (which you can adjust to your own liking), bedding and towels are included in the cost.
The bedding and towels were really good quality.
The sofas, cushions and bed all really comfy.
We were welcomed and shown round. The owners are friendly and approachable but not intrusive.
Very quiet and private property. Very clean. Loved the artwork.
Enjoyed the goodies left on arrival - cream tea (delicious jam - home made I think?), shortcake biscuits, flowers, wine.
There is an electric shower at the end of the bath which you can't see in the picture.
How about measuring and publishing the entrance width? We had no problems with a Hyundai i30.
Would definitely book a return visit.
Mr Brown July 2019
This is an excellent cottage for a couple with use of a spacious garden and close proximity to a village with facilities especially the excellent Trev Arms. Space driving through the gates and parking turn is very tight (nothing the owners can do about this) ; fine with a small or medium car but cld be very tricky with a larger vehicle. Not very old style but nicely furnished and peaceful well equipped cottage. Friendly and approachable owners. Garden available to cottage attaches to owner's garden but is effectively private. Good location for exploring west Cornwall.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage. The owners Jean and David are very welcoming and are on hand if you should need anything. Goldsithney is a lovely little village with 2 pubs, a shop and post office and it’s a pleasant walk to the beach at Perranuthnoe.
Mrs Oval-Brügger April 2018

This Cottage is one of the most attractive small cottages ever. If it takes your notice on the website and you want to stay in Marazion area - just book it! Don't hesitate - you won't regret it. We had fabulous weather 1 - 8 July 2017 and a perfect holiday base in Garden Cottage. So many places of interest close by. Cornwall at its best!
Mrs Bell May 2017
We have been staying in Garden Cottage for several years, since our daughter moved to Penzance. We have always been very satisfied and it has always met our remembered expections! We consider Jean & David to be almost friends after all this time.
Mr Freeston September 2016
We seldom return to the same area, but we have 'unfinished business' in this part of Cornwall and are delighted to have already re-booked Garden Cottage for 2017. Ideally placed, very comfortable and with excellent hosts !
Mr Haywood July 2016

Mrs Roach July 2016
This was our first family holiday with our 11 month old baby and we couldn't have chosen a better cottage and better location. The cottage was equipped with everything we could possibly need and all the extra little touches such as cream tea and bottle of wine on arrival were really appreciated. Jean and David were extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely stay and visited many of the local attractions and beaches. We have already recommended the cottage to family and friends and hope to visit again one day.
Mrs Watson June 2016
A comfortable, well furnished cottage. Owners live next door and were very welcoming. We enjoyed the use of the lovely garden. There are two pubs within a couple of minutes walk, both of which serve food. Also, a village store and post office close by. Great location for exploring the south west of Cornwall. Lovely Perranuthnoe beach is within walking distance. Would certainly book this cottage again.
Mr Eldridge May 2016
Paradise and Tranquil.
Miss Hampton March 2016
Garden cottage is stylish and extremely well equipped. The beds are supremely comfortable and the quality of bed linen is excellent. The owners are helpful and friendly and there are many thoughtful touches in the cottages, such as a reading lamp, foot stool and OS maps. It was lovely to have original art on the walls. The welcome pack was the best we have ever been given. The cottage is on a bus route and there is a lovely walk over fields to the coast.
Mrs Brennan August 2015
An exceptional property. The owners Jean and David made you feel most welcome and as they were going away themselves whilst we were there they left a contact number for their son just in case we had any problems. Furnished to a very high standard and the kitchen had every utensil you could need and more. The garden is fabulous and we were advised we could pick any of the fruit or vegetables that were a available.
Mrs Archer August 2015
Best cottage we've stayed in around this area and we've been doing this for quite a few years! Fantastic having a washing machine, VERY well equipped with added extras you just don't normally find in a holiday cottage, felt a bit like a hotel stay! The owners we lovely too, and being right there we knew if we had any problems at all it would be sorted right away (but we didn't need to as it was all fab!). Awesome, will definitely be coming back :)
Mr Frood May 2015
The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, and provided some great recommendations with regard to the best places to eat and visit (both Ben's Cornish Kitchen in Marazion and the village/harbour of Mousehole to name a couple). The cottage was a perfect size for the three of us (my wife and I, and our baby daughter), and the garden was well maintained and served as a perfect place for a drink or a bite to eat.
Mr Pellegrinetti July 2014
Friendly and welcoming reception awaits the holidaymaker from the owners David & Jean. That the owners live right next door is a considerable bonus in the event that a problem with the cottage arises.
Mr Wardle July 2014
Superb, well kept cottage with good access to local attractions & beaches Private & quiet location.Owners who are very pleasant & welcoming.
Ms Shumaker June 2014
This cottage was in a great accessible location but also allowed us to experience local life in the village. Highly recommend!
Mr Wilcox May 2014
We were happy with everything about Garden Cottage from the warm welcome when we arrived to the lovely cream tea, bottle of wine & milk. The cottage is emaculate & has all the equipment that is needed to make a break in this beautiful cottage perfect. It would be nice to think all your other cottages meet with such a high standard. We will definately be recommending this cottage to all our family & friends. We would definately book another one of your properties if they were up to the high standard set by Jean & David.
Mr Brown May 2014
An ideal location as the bus stop is close by. My companion brought her bus pass and had free journeys all week! Footpath on the doorstep to local beach. two or three minutes from shop, post office and 2 pubs! Has everything going for it. We shall have happy memories of this holiday for a long time to come.
Mr Green September 2013
Well up to expectations, greeted by Owners David and Jean who couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful.
